Re: My sleephead doesn't look right
My machine is the Airsense 10 for her. Forgot to update my profile. Here's another screen shot. As I scroll the appearance changes. It's really hard to read the data when it looks like this. I did delete the profile and create a new one In the Sleepyhead install directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Sl...

My sleephead doesn't look right
Tried reinstalling it but getting the same problems. It clearly isn't supposed to look like this. The labels on the left are usually invisible and sometimes the data turns black as you can see in this picture. As I scroll the appearance changes. Any ideas? I attached a screen shot.

Sleepyhead questions
Just got the Airsense 10. It's the first time I've had a machine that was capable of utilizing the sleepyhead software. Last night was my first night with it. I just looked at the data in Sleepyhead and it's a little overwhelming. I understand leak rate and AHI, but there's a lot of other data in th...

Re: Snores on a Plane or Whole Lotta Poking Going On
I'm flying overnight on Air Canada from Toronto to Greece in May. They have told me I'm not allowed to use my CPAP machine on the flight. I told them since it was an overnight flight, it wasn't safe for me to take that flight and I requested they cancel my ticket so I can book a flight on an airlin...

Re: What data do I need?
Thanks. I guess now I know what data I am missing out on, which really doesn't sound like much of anything considering my leak rate is basically at 0 since I switched to nasal pillows and my AHI is under 5.
Does anyone know if the Intellipap tracks CSA as part of the AHI or does it only track OSA?

Re: What data do I need?
Thanks for the reply. I won't be buying the module. I refuse to spend $150 just to remove data from a machine that I already paid a lot of money for. There's something not right about that. I guess I was just wondering if there's really any data I'm missing out on. I generally feel tired most days, ...

What data do I need?
I just recently learned how to use the Smartcode to get some data off my machine without having to buy an expensive control module. It lists leaks, AHI, 95th % pressure, and a few other things. So what am I missing that I want to know? I have no idea. I've never used that SleepyHead software that I ...

Re: Why CPAP over APAP?
For me, I sleep much better with straight pressure. That's it. I've tried ranges of pressures and kept waking up frequently, which I didn't like. Maybe I didn't give it enough time, but in the week of time I actually used the range, I couldn't wait for the week to be over (self-imposed time limit)....

Re: Doctor says therapy has been effective.Quit or continue ?
I have not seen my report and doubt I would get much help reading it if I did. It was given to me in a sealed envelope to take to the doctor. Make me feel not too bright! Is it that this is how things are handled in Canada? It varies from doctor to doctor, but in my experience, the care we receive ...

Re: Doctor says therapy has been effective.Quit or continue ?
Were you tested again in March without a CPAP machine to see if you still require one? If not, I don't know how else your doctor could tell you it's not needed. If your AHI is under control while using a CPAP machine, that doesn't mean you don't need it anymore, that means the machine is working. On...

Re: For those who want to quit CPAP
Why the hell not catch sleep apnea at routine physicals and start treatment before the memory problems start?? Because the average doctor is to ignorant or to obstinate to even be aware or consider it. Perhaps doctors should be required to have annual apnea screenings like commercial drivers in ord...

Re: Anyone have surgery
Is yours an auto machine or a straight CPAP? I was like you when I was using a straight CPAP with a pressure of 12. I had bad leaks, I struggled to sleep at high pressures, hated the lound sound of the machine and the leaking air, etc. Honestly, it didn't get better for almost 4 years. Then I bought...
