Re: Teeth Shifting?
Yes, some of the older posts (prior to C-Flex) said that patient's tongues were forced out towards the teeth which may have caused misalignment over time.

Teeth Shifting?
Hi all! I am using the PHILIPS COMFORT GEL nasal mask and have been doing so for about 5 or 6 years. I was wondering if it's continued use would cause spacing or alignment problems in my teeth. In particular the front teeth especially since it does apply pressure to the upper lip. I am presently usi...

Re: Philips Respironics System One question
So if I added a heated tube to my system (see below), would I use even more water each night? I'm waking up to essentially an empty reservoir as it is. Thanks. I have my heated hose set at 2 and humidity level also set at 2 and after about 8 hours sleep, I have approximately 1/3 of the water left i...

Re: Philips Respironics System One question
Thanks all for your replies. Much appreciated. I also wanted to say that I am very, very pleased with this machine. I've tried the Resmed S9 and have to admit that this unit is far superior in my opinion. I know it is a subjective statement but in my case it seems to excel in a number of areas. My F...

Re: Philips Respironics System One question
I should have mentioned that mine is the new REMSTAR SE. It does not have a dial knob. It is all black with 4 pad touch buttons on the front. The first one is RAMP, the second and third are L/R ARROWS and the 4th one is ON/OFF. That's it! There is a display board above the buttons approsimately 3 in...

Philips Respironics System One question
Hi all! I am presently trying out a PRS1 without the heater tube. The supplier wants me to try it out before ordering another upgraded heater hose model as I was disatisfied with the Resmed S9 units mainly because of the inhalation sound and difficulty seeing how much water there was left. In any ev...

Resmed S9 Autoset
Hello. I have tried 2 brand new Resmed S9's and both amplify inhalation noise with a minor whistle on exhalation. Either people have become accustomized to these sounds or I must be the heaviest inhaler in the world! In any event, I have a Fisher Paykel 604 which I have used for the past 5 years and...
