MyAir users
A question for any European Resmed MyAir users. Has anyone had any issues with data not being uploaded from their machines in the last week or so ? Although my Airsense 10 has a good data connection, data isn't appearing in the app until several days later. Normally syncs within an hour. Sent from m...

Re: C-Pap causing gas
I had the same until I read about EPR - Exhalation pressure relief. This is a setting on your machine that needs to be turned on maximum full time. The machine then detects when you are breathing out and automatically lowers the air pressure. Virtually eliminated the problem overnight. Sent from my ...

Re: What is the difference between S9 and Airsense?
The Airsense is a much smaller device with an integral humidifier container. It also has built in wireless data communication. I've had mine about a year and love it. Especially convenient when travelling.

Sleeping position affects CPAP treatment
Has anyone else noticed that your sleeping position affects your CPAP treatment ? I've found that sleeping on my right side my AHI scores are consistently below 2, but sleeping on my left side they can be much higher -sometimes into double figures. It's apparently because your sinuses are not symmet...

Swallowing Air
Apologies if this is already well known, but for a couple of years of CPAP use I had been frustrated by waking up with a very disturbed tummy where I had been swallowing air during the night. However, thanks to advice on here, I found the solution was to set my machine Airsense 10 to provide EPR (le...

Re: CPAP and Tinnitus
Yes seen audiologist and ENT consultant. I have only very slight high end hearing loss consistent with age, but otherwise everything else is fine. It just seems odd that the Tinnitus is intermittent (some days have nothing at all) and other days it follows this pattern of developing during the day. ...

Re: CPAP and Tinnitus
I'm not on any meds that might be causing tinnitus - have cut out coffee, salt and low dose aspirin (all of which might have been having an effect). My tinnitus is intermittent, accompanied by sinus pain and virus like symptoms and follows a definite pattern. I normally wake up with it, after an hou...

CPAP and Tinnitus
I've been using a CPAP machine for around 2 years after being diagnosed with severe sleep apnoea. My max pressure is set to 12.4 cm/H2O. About a year ago I started suffering high frequency tinnitus (mainly in left ear but also noticeable in right) with associated mild viral like symptoms - some sinu...

Smart Start and Stop on Airsense S10
I've just started using the Airsense S10 after several years with the S9 - and really love the new machine. One slight issue I've noticed is that, despite Smart start and stop being enabled, occasionally the machine carries on blowing air once I've removed the mask - meaning I have to turn it off ma...

Re: Anyone use "MY AIR" on resmed site
Yes I use it. I realise you don't have the level of detail like Sleepyhead - but not sure I need that. MyAir gives me s simple to understand summary of how my therapy is going, and being able to access that remote from the machine is very useful.

myAir on iPhone 6
I've just brought the new S10 Resmed machine and signed up to their myAir service. Everything works fine on my MacBook and iPad - but after numerous attempts I can't sign into the account on my iPhone 6 - keep getting email or password invalid - despite me checking and rechecking that these are corr...
