Weird in bed?
I like my topic title... Does anybody notice since being on their machine that they do odd things while sleeping? I tend to cross my feet while laying on my back which sometimes happens even before infall asleep. It actually hurts my bony ankles. I can't stop this habit and it drives me nuts. Anybod...

Re: Question about SleepyHead
I just got a different machine and decided to keep it as the same user. I needed you could just run the reports from the date you started importing the new data anyway.

Re: Greetings - need help w/machine selection
Just came back from my DME and had it all explained to me. In Ontario the government pays for 75% of the CPAP at a set price no matter what machine you get. So the higher price of the machine the lower profit they get. They are not allowed to charge more even if the customer will pay the difference ...

Re: Greetings - need help w/machine selection
My first DME didn't want to sell me what I wanted but was nice enough to give me a quote to submit to see if I may be covered for the "upgrade". She said I would have to pay the $500 difference out of pocket. The quote was written in a way that would have ended up costing me the $500. I got a quote ...

Re: Greetings - need help w/machine selection
Why do DMEs lie about the S9 Elite not being covered? You think that they wouldn't want to lose the business of those smart enough to question it like I did.

Re: Getting my new S9 Elite on Thursday!
My S9 comes with the humidifier but not heated hose. So I guess an upgraded the hose is a good idea. I guess there isn't much else to it! Thanks all.

Getting my new S9 Elite on Thursday!
Received my prescription last week and tool my loaner F&P Icon Premo in and told the DME that I wanted an S9 Elite. She told me that I would have to pay for the difference of the escape and elite out of pocket because my provider will only cover a set amount. She said she would send me a quote and I...

Anybody in Canada have Manulife?
I have all the paperwork now for my CPAP. I have been using a F&P Icon Premo for the last three months which I thought was on loan. The clinic I went to use a couple of different suppliers but I was told I could use whomever. For ease of things, I thought I would stay with the one that gave me the l...

Higher Pressure and now mouth breathing?
My initial pressure was 8.0 and had no issue with mouth breathing. As soon as my pressure was increased to 10.0 I started mouth breathing for the first time. My question is, has anyone else experienced this? I thought I was doing so well and I really don't want to go to a full mask.

Re: SD card question
I go back at the beginning of March for another sleep study. I don't want to change my pressure until then but do realize that it needs to be higher. My biggest concern are the leaks except for that one spike. I do sometimes wake up and hear a little hissing which I fix by readjusting my mask. I'm s...

Re: SD card question
All the data was saved luckily.... as I am new, I wondered if someone could comment on my data from last night. Ignore the leak at 2 am as my daughter was crying and I jumped out of bed to see why. Other than that the mask was on all night. http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s622/scott_matthews1/Sc...

Re: SD card question
Will do. I saw a ResMed S9 on display so I will probably ask for that. Thanks for all the info. I'm on my way home right now and will post the results of what data was logged without the SD card for reference.

Re: SD card question
Thank you. On a side topic is there a reason there are not a lot of Icon users? The machine I have is on loan and will get my own in a month or so. I seem to be happy with what I have but of course don't have anything to compare it to. If I was to pick another machine other than the Icon I would pro...
