Re: Getting really pissed at myself now!
Bucksbeek, I'm reading this thread because I too am having this exact issue, minus the headboard. I'm even turning my machine off in my sleep. Very frustrating for me. Tonight, I'm moving my machine out of reach. BTW, I know it wasn't Ambien! I didn't take one (not proof) because there are no empty ...

Like... going to the store, calling an ex girlfriend (Ambi-calling) or getting into a deep conversation with your wife about Ambi-calls (dangerous!).SnorkelPuss wrote:Just a thought: if you take sleep med like Ambien, you might do things and don't remember.

Re: Really good Zeo score?
Hey crew, I use an app on my phone, called Sleep Cycle, to track my sleep. I was interested in the Zeo just as more biofeedback on my sleep. Does this thing really work for at-home psuedo-partial PSG, (combined with an S9, SleepyHead and oximetry)? Is it worth the money. Is the feedback worth the mo...

Re: SD card
Will my DME / Doc know that I am removing my card daily to ready it? I'm not erasing any data on in. Will the insurance, FAA or Sleep Doc think I'm tampering with the data?

First visit with Doc, what should I bring?
When my sleep doctor diagnosed me with OSA, he said over the phone, “I’ll write a prescription for a CPAP at 10cm. Let’s see how that works.” I made an appointment for Monday, which will be 20 days of data. From everything that I have learned here, reading my data and researching my numbers, I belie...

SleepyHead for Mac will not import data.
I have my Respironics data on DropBox so both my PC and Mac can access the same data folder. SleepyHead for PC works perfect every time. But, SleepyHead for Mac states the data will not import. I use a Mac notebook with both operating systems, so this is not a big problem, just a matter of convenien...

Re: New to CPAP and loosing the battle already
Steve,
If you don't have a table to rest the machine on, try this platform made to hold a cpap machine on the side of your bed. The board is placed between the box spring and mattress.

Re: Can I just ask for an Auto CPAP?
Thanks ChunkyFrog, I will insist on a prescription that reads S9 AutoSet, H5i and Climate Line. Is the order code 36025? What will the doctor say when I ask? Will he even care?

Re: Aspiring Hosehead saying hello!
Cosmo is right, attitude is the key. I had the same effect after my sleep study with CPAP tritration, amazing energy. For the first time in 20 years, I was tired without my head in a fog of incapacitation. Wow, I could think while I was tired! My doctor called me one week later and sent a prescripti...

Re: Driving trucks with Sleep Apnea
Justin, Thanks for posting the numbers. Both my pilot's medical and driver's medical are going to have exception with my new diagnosis. I've been looking around to see what the compliance numbers are for drivers. The FAA wants to review my test results and machine data, then they will let me know if...

Re: Camping
My wife has a medical condition that requires the room to be set at 60-62 while sleeping. I started to have the same issue, so I try to bring the hose under the covers next to my body and it has not happened since. I'm hoping to get a machine with a heated hose next week. What if you used an 8' hose...

Can I just ask for an Auto CPAP?
Hey gang, I head back to see my sleep doctor for a follow up after my first prescription. I have never met him, just two phone sessions and a faxed prescription. I wanted to collect two weeks for data and discuss it with him. He has me on a straight CPAP at 10cm. Although, I have been feeling much b...
