I think I've tracked the noise down to a leak at the nose. I just have to lift the mask up a little and it stops so this morning I tightened the top straps so I bet it will be ok.
I also just ordered the padacheek liner and made my own strap covers with fleece.

Re: Mirage LIberty
Now on my 3rd night with the mask.. and when it's good it's great but when it's not good- it's very bad! It seems to make a lot of noise at times and then stop. I haven't yet been able to figure out why this is. I still love it and won't trade masks but it's annoying at times.

Mirage LIberty
I spend my first night last night with my new Mirage LIberty hybrid mask. I have to say I am in love with the thing. No leaks, no pains, no trouble! I hope it stays this great.

Re: Hybrid or Full Face
Thanks Pugsy for the suggestion on the humidity. Last night i turned it down and was able to sleep all night without congestion. I know it will take a few more nights to prove that was the cause but looks promising now. Thanks!

Re: Hybrid or Full Face
So does the hybrid stop you from going slackjawed and mouth leaking or is a traditional full face better for that?

Re: Hybrid or Full Face
I have a regular hose with a homemade cover on it. I will try adjusting the humidity and see if that helps any. Thanks for the suggestion.

Re: Hybrid or Full Face
The nasal congestion is only at night. I'm fine when I go to sleep but wake up about 3:30 all stuffy. It probably has something to do with the amount of furries in my bedroom but that isn't changing anytme soon, so I need to find a better solution for me.
Thanks,
Sarah

Hybrid or Full Face
I am currently using a Wisp mask, while I love the mask, i am strugglng with a chin strap. I can't find one that will keep my mouth closed and not irritate the skin under my chin. i'm also fighting some frequent nasal congestion. Because of that, as soon as my insurance allows it i want to try a new...

Re: Anyone use wisp masks?
I use it and I really like it. My only issue is finding a chinstrap that will work for me. I may be forced to move to a FF, which will bum me out because I like the wisp.

Best Chinstrap?
I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion of the best chinstrap available. I"m using one that is basicallly a strip of neoprene with velcro on the end with a smaller strip going around the back that I got from my DME. My issue is it's severly irritating my chin. I've got a giant red welt that I am ...

Re: Wisp
I have a Wisp and love it. Granted I'm a newbie and this is my first mask but I was able to get used to it right away and rarely have any leak issues. My only complaint was the silicoln straps left marks from laying on them. I covered them in some fleece/velcro covers and that has gotten much better...
