Re: Can you believe what the DME told me? A little humor..

Thank you all for the compliments! ... and for your stories! I love reading them. Sometimes you don't laugh in the moment, but they sure are funny later. I'd be glad to post in a newbie forum, but don't know how. A note to add to my story.. my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in August and ...

Re: Resmed Report..need help reading

Thank you. I will try. It looked like a lot of events to me as well. But, when I read my nightly report, it didn't report that many. Perhaps I don't understand that either. More to follow.. probably tomorrow.

Can you believe what the DME told me? A little humor..

Hello all~ I just want to share my experience with the DME I used in town. They are a DME chain. Please tell your friends to do these first 4 things before they go into any DME. Then enjoy a few of my conversations below. Before stepping the first foot into the DME store in December 2012: 1. I resea...

Re: Question about Nasal Pillow vs Nasal Mask

Hi Pugsy! Thank you for your help. My machine says my EPR Full Time, EPR level 2 My Ramp pressure begins at 5 for 20 minutes. I initially had it set for 4 at 40 minutes, but with the nasal mask with a pressure of 4, I felt like there wasn't enough air and I couldn't breath well, so I turned it up to...

Re: I always have nostril congested, even at sleep.

If anyone can travel to the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC, they have an incredible ENT. His name is Dr. Brent Senior. He is incredibly brilliant and has even developed some procedures to help patients breath better. Actually, at UNC they have "E" doctors (Ears), "N" doctor...

Question about Nasal Pillow vs Nasal Mask

Hello! I've been using my CPAP only since December 2012. Right away, I was able to use the Nasal Mask. But, it's a bit difficult to completely sleep on my side because of the Nasal Mask. I tried the Nasal Pillows and am able to sleep on my side much better, however, I find it much harder to breath o...

Re: Software Link for Apple Computer (for Resmed)

Thank you so much Pugsy! This information is exactly what I was looking for. If I take my SD Card out of the Resmed to load the data on the computer, will it want to erase the data when I reinsert the card in the machine? Thank you for helping a newbie!

Waking up Nightly

Hello Friends! I just started using my CPAP machine in December 2012. I have no problem wearing the mask throughout the night. I have had the machine for 3 weeks, and have been able to wear it throughout the night from day one. I have noticed that I wake up throughout the night though. I am able to ...

Software Link for Apple Computer (for Resmed)

Hello friends! I just started using my CPAP (APAP) machine in December 2012. Currently, I go into the Resmed S-9 Autoset settings to view my nightly stats. I've noticed that there are some computer programs that will allow me to use my SD card to upload data. This sounds much better! Can anyone shar...
