Tounge pushing my teeth forward
I recently switched from a full face mask to a Swift FX nasal pillow mask. I'm a side-sleeper, and had trouble with mask leaks waking me up and general comfort issues. I've always been a mouth breather, but with the use of a chin strap, I've been able to teach myself to sleep with my mouth closed, a...

Ha! That was it.
I do have the model 460, and had the wrong model selected just as you said.
Now the correct machine seems to be showing on all my posts. Thanks!

Does anyone know why my machine type does not show up in my posts?
I have "PR System One REMstar Pro CPAP Machine with C-flex Plus" selected in my profile, but it doesn't show up in my posts.

I've learned so much from this forum since I discovered it about the time I began the sleep studies. I'll be hanging around here for a while.

Amazed at the results....
After years of never going to a doctor, I began seeing a GP on a regular basis due to some minor health issues and the fact that I'm over 50 now. One of the things we discussed was how I slept. I mentioned to him that I thought I slept well, although my girlfriend says I snore a lot. I did mention t...

Re: Newbie looking for Encore Basic
Thanks to all who posted / PM'd the link. I didn't have any luck getting EB to install on my Windows 8 machine, even using the "Run as Administrator" trick. I was able, however, to do the trick of installing it on another (W/7) computer, and then transferring the whole program file to the W8 compute...

Re: New computer/old software
I just tried to get Encore Basic to run on my Windows 8, 64-bit machine with no luck. During the installation I get an error saying it needs Windows XP or Vista. I would imagine Encore Pro would act the same way but I cannot confirm.
Sleepyhead runs on it, though....
