Thanks for your help in getting the right picture; hope it is right anyway. Could you tell me why his flow rate is so low?

Re: Help! Hubby's settings failed him, stop breathing short time

Wow, I am on! I used the capital letter and once again asked for a new password. Together they worked, THANK FOR ALL THE HELP. Now to get back to my purpose. Due to circumstances it will need to be tomorrow and I will use Gray Ghost as recommended earlier.

Re: New & just diagnosed w/apnea by medical supply clerk??

Since you are in the Portland area, I would highly recommend Sleep Technology for a provider. they are great and really help you fit with a mask and provided excellent machines and service for us.

Re: Many snores after changing hoses. What to do?

Now that is a thought! He put the now "smaller" machine in the open drawer and the hose could have rubbed the edge and made noises. Tonight we will take it out and put it back on top and be sure of the setting. Thank you, thank you.

Re: Many snores after changing hoses. What to do?

Yes, it was the heated hose and he doesn't want even the humidifier so we put that standard hose on yesterday. I will change the setting to 22 then. Is it logical that this would have caused the increased snores? Thanks so much!

Re: Many snores after changing hoses. What to do?

It just shows tubing type 22 or 15. What does that mean? this tube is much longer than that??? It is the standard gray hose.

Re: Many snores after changing hoses. What to do?

I don't think it is any thing else the machine is picking up as things are the same as usual and this had never happened before. But I will double check that out. thanks

Re: Many snores after changing hoses. What to do?

I didn't realize there was a setting. I will check that out. thanks. I didn't think it was the humidifier as he doesn't use it consistently and the snores weren't affected.

Many snores after changing hoses. What to do?

My husband has been getting great scores of below 5 and then he wanted to remove the humidifier and had to change to the larger hose. Over night he went from one vibratory snore 2 to thirty. He uses the System One 760P, Bilevel set at 9-13. We have followed suggestions I have read in the forum and h...

Re: suggestions for bipap settings?

Your mom's experience sounds a lot like mine for three years. I am only a novice and can only tell you my experience but maybe there will be something in it that will help. I had three sleep studies done with a full face mask and each time was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and a setting of ...
