Re: ResMed S9 AutoSet with H51 Heated Humidifier-no longer need

I am using the SomnoDent Classic & Flex, which is adjustable. I do think it is working based on the study in the lab and from experience. In my situation, the apnea is worst on my back. If I slept on my back, the CPAP would be needed, for sure. However, my sleep doctor said that if I can stay off my...

Re: ResMed S9 AutoSet with H51 Heated Humidifier-no longer need

Thank you for the suggestions. I have been wondering about that. My new sleep doctor came up with the plan and has so far had me do one additional home study and then one more in the lab using the appliance. He interpreted previous studies in a way that indicated sleep apnea to be mainly a problem w...

ResMed S9 AutoSet with H51 Heated Humidifier-no longer need

I used the above for about 8 months before a new sleep doctor suggested using an oral appliance instead of a CPAP machine. So now I have the machine, carry case and supplies and am wondering what to do with all the equipment? Everything is in great condition. I saw some people selling them on Craig'...

Re: Need new mask...cant take the Quattro straps anymore

I'm about 15 days on the Mirage Quattro. I've woken up a few times with plugged ears, so hope that's just an oddity for now. It is tricky getting it tight enough to avoid leaks without being too tight. I still have red marks a few hours after wearing the mask. I didn't have leaks that I was aware of...

Re: Quattro FX - what is the right fit?

Good luck on finding the right pillow. As it turns out, I finally had to give up on the FX and switched to the Mirage Quattro on January 14. That seems to be working much better for me, and I'm thinking with this one, I'd also have additional flexibility on using different pillows. Seems like quite ...

Re: Quattro FX - what is the right fit?

Thanks all for the input and sharing of experiences. I'm still working on trying to figure this out. I'm hoping one day I won't keep waking up several times a night with leaks. I notice too that the mask tends to move up during the night i.e. level with my eyeballs. So, I either shift it down while ...

Quattro FX - what is the right fit?

I've been using the above since December 11 (after having to give up on the Swift FX Nasal Pillows). The change was a good move (as I couldn't keep my mouth shut with the other). After struggling with leaks while lying on my side (that's how I prefer to sleep), I ended up buying a CPAPmax Pillow (wh...
