Re: Can people genuinely fail to tolerate CPAP?

What a shame if a tender-hearted new one with severe OSA came here to get help making PAP work and was instead verbally belittled and punched in the gut and subsequently gave up on getting help from anyone and actually did die! I imagine that has happened more than once. It's just a matter of how l...

Organic doesn't actually matter. +1 Always glad to see someone who knows this. Organic, non-GMO, gluten-free is a huge scam by a multi-billion dollar food industry. clean fats "Clean", in today's context, used to describe any food, is without definition, but you always find superstition and no scie...

Re: Can I skip some days?

But in my opinion, the whole 'you will feel terrible and maybe die' approach, as true as it may be for some patients who post here, is simply not true for every single person prescribed PAP therapy. But hey what do I know. I don't even understand the blasted cable box these days. Maybe the OP will ...

Re: Can I skip some days?

On a positive note I want to thank a member who has sent me excellent information via a private message. One of the advantages of posting advice in a forum such as this is the vetting process. By vetting, I mean someone posts advice, and that advice is subject to the scrutiny of others. At times, t...

Plenty of big talk anonymously on the internet. Post links to the newspaper articles showing you took down corporations.

Re: "Learning" while you sleep.

My brother learned to hold his rifle and sleep in the military. He never dropped it once. There are two tricks required to be able to do this. 1) Fall asleep holding the rifle in such a position that when the muscles in your hand relax, the rifle does not fall to the floor. 2)The rifle should be he...

Re: CPAP made in China Post by Little Listener on Sat May 23, 2015 10:43 pm I've used a CPAP machine for several years without incident. But a few months ago I noticed a dramatic change in the way I felt. After sleeping in my mask all night, I would awaken dizzy, puffy faced, fuzzy headed, bleary-e...

Re: HIPAA Covered Entities

It is so sad that we have come to the point, where good people wanting to help others, have fear that their government may inflict serious harm upon them for their good deeds.

Re: FDA Oversight of CPAP

The problem here is that most of the politicians are "bought and paid for" by special interest groups. You have it backwards. The problem is not that lobbyists "buy" elected officials. The problem is that elected officials "sell" themselves to lobbyists and other special interests. If you go furthe...

Re: Soft Neck Brace Reduces Flow Limititations

I think what is happening here is that the brace is not only keeping my jaw from dropping, but it is also helping to keep my airway open by keeping my head from tipping forward. I'm not sure the long term implications of this, but it seems, at the very least, I will be able to lower my pressure set...
