Cruise and CPAP
I am about to go on my first cruise. The cruise will be on Carnival. I have been advised that there is only 1 electrical outlet in the room which is near the desk/vanity. I have been advised by a CPAP company that I trust not to use an extension cord with my CPAP. I am interested in knowing what oth...

Re: Mouth Breathing
Thanks Zoocrewphoto. I tried repositioning it lower. It worked briefly but then started leaking in my eyes. I have been considering trying Quattro Air for Her.
I loved the softness of the mask. I just could not control the leaks in my eyes.

Re: Mouth Breathing
My Jaw drops which I considered to be a mouth breather. However, a RT shared with me is that a true mouth breather has to breathe all day with your mouth open which I do not do. I tried FFM and found them to hurt my face. Those that did not tear up my face tore up my nose. I tried the Quattro FX for...

Re: Changed masks 5 times
Hang in there. I probably tried more masks than 5. Many of them were the ones you listed. I know alternate between the Swift FX for Her and F&P Eson Nasal.

Travel CPAP ---Plane Trip
Next Monday, I will take my first plane trip since being on CPAP. I have traveled over the past 4 months but always in a car. Last week I ordered and received my Intellipap machine , which I plan to use for travel.
Any hints or suggestions as I prepare to travel will be greatly apprecicated.

New to Nasal Pillows - Help!
Well, I am now full circle in 4 months. I started out with a full face mask. Almost 2 weeks ago I attended a CPAP clinic and the DME respresentative said to save my nose from all my issue,. I needed to start using the Resmed Swift FX mask that I received at my titration study. I have been using the ...

Re: Has anyone had any success with the Quattro FX for Her?
Thanks everyone for your responses. I have tried to do what you are saying but not with much success. I will keep trying. I am a side sleeper, mouth breather that is why I started with a FF mask and have been trying to stay with one. My RT suggested I try a nasal mask with a chin strap. My stats are...

Has anyone had any success with the Quattro FX for Her?
After using the Mirage Quattro and having my nose bridge break. I am trying to use the Quattro FX for Her. I love that it is softer and I have not nose bridge damage but I have problems with air leaking into my eyes. I was wandering if anyone else had similar problems with this mask and if so how di...

Re: Please take this poll for my college paper. :-)
My sleep doctor reviewed my titration study results and sent me an email sharing that because the results were rather inconclusive in terms of the proper pressure setting she was writing a prescription for an autopap. I educated myself on exactly what that was by using the internet and on forums lik...
