Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
"Paranoia strikes deep, into your life it will creep........" How many have discontinued use of their foam mattress or pillows due to nightly exposure to highly toxic VOC's which is made worse by the heat of your body laying directly on it? The foam used in a CPAP is at best comprised of ...

Re: Aerophagia No More!
nothing changed with my sleep last night, that being the first night that i've slept since stopping the Turmeric complex. Well, that is good news. Remember, these supplement companies aren't operated in FDA approved and monitored labs. You never know what you are getting in a supplement capsule. If...

Re: Covid-19 - Extra Protection from CPAP?
As I understand, covid-19 can come with a lot of nasal congestion. I feel if I contracted covid-19, CPAP would really help with the congestion problems. I had the same thought. Even though I use a FFM, I mostly breathe nasally due to training and the help of a soft neck collar. When I have a cold, ...

Re: SoClean 2 thoughts opinions??
I can see that this a "hotly contested" debate and I am in the minority! I purchased my SoClean 2 about a year ago and I LOVE IT! My insurance did not pay a penny...it all came from my bank account! I love the clean smell after using the cleaner and instead of 3 sinus infections (average per year) ...

I've read the WHO's documents on EMF from cell phones and cell towers. They state there is no evidence of damage from EMFs.MedicalMama wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 9:51 pmI get that the situation in Princeton is bs, but the World Health Organization would beg to differ with your opinion on EMF’s.

Re: surprised at self treating
My sleep doctor means well, but can't help me fine tune my treatment as well as the folks here can. Fine tuning, or final tuning, was the key for me. I had three nights in the sleep lab and they couldn't prescribe the right pressure. They knew I was somewhere between 7 cm and 24 cm. lol Tuning at h...

ResScan software is available for "healthcare professionals" including DMEs to download directly from ResMed for free. I do not know about Respironics. Respironics also provides software free to professionals. ( https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/solutions/sleep/software ) Who can imagine a mac...

You probably have picked up info from what we in the science fields call "woo" websites. The great preponderance of scientific study still says saturated fats of all kinds cause artery-clogging. Cream is saturated fat.crestifer wrote:some heavy cream....good to go.

a lot of people aren't able to hire a personal trainer or go to a gym, or are not able to lift weights. yoga can be done anywhere by anyone, anytime. Well now you add the qualifiers. Re: Rudeness
If you do not want to accept the advice of experienced, untrained people, restrict your questions to your doctor or RT if you have one. However, don't expect to get intensive one to one learning experiences as these people seldom have, or are willing to take the time to spend with one individual. N...

Yes, and during an obstructive apnea event no air is moving. Air has to move to cause snoring.TASmart wrote:I am pretty sue that it is not possible to snore during a central apnea event.
