Thanks for all the responses. My primary care physician referred me to an ENT, who after some tests found that I had superior canal dehiscence-mild on the left, severe on the right. The superior canal is part of your vestibular (balance) system and dehiscence means the bone is thinned or even broken...

To clarify, I already have a diagnosis of benign positional vertigo (also known as top shelf vertigo). I believe the CPAP may be exacerbating it.
