I called the DME three times between 8 and 5...never got to talk with my RT. Left messages that my machine quit working. She never called back. Now they're gone for the weekend.

Re: S9 shutting down at night
I called the DME and waiting for a call back. Hoping they can fix me up. I think its the power supply that's bad. It seems to go off after running about an hour or two...(the little green light goes off) and earlier in the week it would come back on after unplugging and replugging it. Last night it ...

S9 shutting down at night
This week my S9 has started acting weird. It been shutting off in the middle of the night. Its done it four nights in a row now...usually about two to three hours into the night. The first time it happened I freaked out...woke up and couldn't breathe...felt like I was gasping for breath...which I wa...

Re: Two weeks on this S9 Auto
A good first step is to figure out if any air is leaking. A high leak will not yield an accurate AHI score. The machines menu can give you an accurate leak reading and also a simple one by the face you see on the display in the morning. So far the morning menu shows a smiley face for the mask setti...

Re: Two weeks on this S9 Auto
The pressure is at 7 which is what was prescribed after my recent sleep study. The tech who set up the machine had a feeling that setting would not work for me so asked me to come in after two weeks instead of the customary four week follow up required by the insurance company... We'll see what she ...

Two weeks on this S9 Auto
I feel like I sleep better than I did on my old RemStar machine...its quieter and many less leaks with my mask...but I get a lot more complaints from my wife regarding increased amounts of snoring with this machine than I did with my old machine... I found out that you can check the AHI from the nig...

Water usage in S9 Humidifier
Got through my issues with my doc and ended up getting a new S9 Auto. Seems to be working pretty well. Had some leakage issues but got that sorted out and now the machine seems to be working pretty well. I have my first follow up appointment in a weeks time but in the meantime I thought I would ask ...

DME company (affiliated with my doctors practice group) wanted be to check with the insurance company (BCBS) to see if they would cover. Re: Can Cpap machine be repaired?
I think my machine is a RemStar C-pap with C-flex. Its got the humidifier extension. It has 25,000 hours on the clock so its been used alot. I would love to get a machine...if I can get the doctor to write a prescription. It took me about a year of asking to get him to write me a script for a new ma...

Can Cpap machine be repaired?
I don't think my machine is working correctly...I recently had a new sleep study and they determined that my machine needed to be changed from 12 to 7. Tech thought that was odd...she had never decreased pressure before. Made sense to me because my mask leaked so much I could never get it to seal pr...
