Re: cheaper version of this?
Hey guys, Thought you all might be interested in my final solution. I had tried the headband thing, and found that the ones I could buy were not tight or wide enough. So I sacrificed an old pair of Spanx leggings, cutting a section out of the leg that was tighter and wider. This worked OK, but it le...

Re: cheaper version of this?
Chinstraps/mufflers aside, I would consider using a chin up strip. Tape is much less confining than a "face quilt". The chin up strips come in a "U" or boomerang shape, which allows mouth breathing, but makes it awkward enough to eliminate it full time. I made my own out of wide painter tape. The p...

Re: cheaper version of this?
For $59, the ultimate chin strap can be expected to be used for a fairly long time. Once it finally wears out, you could use your sewing skills to DIY, using it for your pattern. Or just order another--many say they are well worth the cost. How much would you pay for a pillow? Matteress? Just learn...

cheaper version of this?
I need a chin strap that also goes across my mouth to keep my lips closed. The closest thing I could find was this: http://sleepapneasolutionsinc.com/?page_id=2 Anyone seen something like it for less than FIFTY-NINE DOLLARS? Please note, I'm not asking for a critique of this thing. I've rigged sever...

cervical collar recommendations
For those of you who use a collar to keep your jaw closed, what type / brands do you use and like? Also any pointers / secrets / etc? I am not getting along with my chin strap and want to try the collar thing. Thanks -- 19C

Re: Help me buy a Winx?
Did you actually try to set up a video appointment? It says they are free for California residents but not limited to them. Also they give testimonials from people from other states. Yeah, I tried the video appointment and that's when it told me they are only selling the device in California. Hmm, ...

Re: Help me buy a Winx?
I tried to make CPAP work for almost 10 years (this is my second account in this forum), despite minimal improvement in my symptoms from using it (confirmed by sleep study in which it only reduced my AHI by a couple of points). I have 12 masks in my drawer, along with mouth tape, dental guards, chin...

And, before people ask, yes, I have searched this forum and read the posts here related to the system. What I'm trying to accomplish here is actually getting my hands on one and trying it, not debating the pros and cons. Thanks!

Help me buy a Winx?
OK, so I have had no luck with CPAP or oral devices, and now want to try this Winx thing -- but it's apparently only being sold to people in California? I was hoping maybe someone here had tried one and would be willing to sell it to me, or if there were someone in California who would buy one and s...
