Re: Severe aerophagia
So I finally got around to downloading SleepyHead. It shows that I went from an AHI of over 13 on Friday night with my pressure set at 10/10 to an AHI of 2.4 with the reduction on the exhale to 7 on Saturday night. I think I must just be gagging and gasping like crazy with the higher pressure on my ...

Re: Cruising and CPAP
Hi James, Newbie here and while I haven't flown with a cpap myself I have seen people traveling with them. I also seem to remember seeing a link to follow in case of med equipment on AA's website. So be sure to check with you airline and they will prob have some advice for dealing with the dreaded T...

Re: First Full Night of Sleep!
I finally went to sleep at a decent hour with my mask on (10:30 pm-ish), and woke up about an hour ago at 6 am with the mask still on my face! I do not feel tired or groggy at all, which is crazy since I have NEVER been a morning person. I have been using my machine for about 1 week. Hopefully I to...

Re: Severe aerophagia
Well...I got 3.3 hours in last night. I was still feeling full up but not as bad as before. I can do this thing! Thanks everyone for all your all your help. Sunpoppy, that is one happy-looking baby! So cute! Thanks! That pic was snapped in the first few seconds of us seeing each other for the first ...

Re: Severe aerophagia
I don't see how lowering the exhale pressure will make much of a difference. It's on inhale when most of the pressure leaks into the stomach. What I have found (in my short amount of time) is that while I have had the machine going whilst awake is that it is difficult for me to exhale. I sort of fe...

Thank you, pugsy for the links to the software. I have planned on getting something but haven't gotten around to it yet. Will do that now.

Re: Very confused
Sunpoppy-Welcome to the forum! It would probably be better to start your own thread as a new topic. You will get more responses that way. As I am a newbie myself I can't answer your questions but others will. Just go to the top of the home page and click on "Post a New Topic" and start your thread....

Severe aerophagia
Okay, so this is my first question on this site. I have been browsing around for a few days and love the info I have gathered! Two nights ago I started using a Resmed Elite with a Pilairo nasal pillow. I have only been able to use for around two-three hours per night due to extreme aerophagia. (This...

Re: Very confused
Ok so an Auto Resmed S9 with a swift fx small nasal pillow is heading my way! I hope this is an AutoSet not an Escape Auto that is headed your way. Okay, so this is my first question on this site.
