I used nose pillows for about a year and noticed dryness in my nose along that caused a cracking of the skin membrane inside and a crack on the nose entry. It took me 6 months to get used to the Auto Pap. I use nose pillows.

I purchased a Quatro FX for ladies and used the fitting suggestions from the manufacturer but it was too small. Got another one in medium and it fit better but after a while it leaks air keeping me awake. I went back to the nose pillows. Am now considering that hybrid mask combo nose pillows/oral.

I have the same problem using a full mask so I changed to the nose pillows, but I still have the face strap marks. Any recommendations from seasoned CPAP'ers?
