I just got a new nasal mask, and my AHI is much better with that and a chin strap than it is without the chin strap. (I am using the Respironics Original Deluxe chin strap.) However, I am getting overheated. Any suggestions? I am not comfortable with the idea if taping. Thanks!

I've started doing the exact same thing. I've been on CPAP for over a year, but within the last couple months I've started doing this. I can't seem to keep my mask on more than about 3 hours. My doctor increased my starting pressure around October, and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.

If you have access to Trader Joe's, they sell a peppermint flavored chewable melatonin in a 500 MCG dose. I swear by them. They don't make me groggy, but they help me doze off.
