Re: Looking for feedback/feeling crappy

[quote="49er"]SnorkelPuss, Are you in a position to consult with Dr. Avram Gold in NY, a sleep medicine specialist who has worked with alot of patients with fibromyalga? If you aren't, perhaps the office could suggest someone nearby for you to work with. My heart really goes out to you. It sounds li...

Re: Looking for feedback/feeling crappy

I do use the software but really haven't for about a month. There really wasn't anything of note. I stopped antidepressants for a while because I thought it was contributing to the fatigue. It seemed to help a bit but then it really wasn't the case. I had to start them again but a different one whic...

Re: Looking for feedback/feeling crappy

I've been on this therapy for a year and a half and I also continue to have terribly unrefreshing sleep. Like you, I've had tons of medical tests with no definitive results. And, like you, I do have a known medical condition (generically referred to as dysautonomia) but exactly how it might be affe...

Re: Looking for feedback/feeling crappy

Sorry I took so long. Had to get it all down cuz there were a lot of responses to make. Took me awhile to organize thoughts.

Looking for feedback/feeling crappy

Hi Everyone: I’ve been using CPAP now for over a year. I was on this site a lot at first and thank you again for all your help. I just wanted to check in and say that after over a year of compliance and finding the right pressure and mask I don’t feel much better. I guess the big picture is that my ...

Swift FX Nano

I got the Swift FX Nano about two months ago. As usual I'm always reaching for something better but this didn't work for me.
Is anyone interested in buying it from me? I've used it probably a total of 5-7 nights.
PM me if your are interested.
Thanks

Innova Nasal CPAP Mask

Hi All, I'm always looking for the latest and greatest. I bought this new mask from 1800CPAP because it wasn't available yet at CPAP.com. I liked the design and materials but I think the problem for me is that the size medium is too big. It was pretty comfortable but kept leaking throughout the nigh...

Re: I'm too young and busy for this. [Rant]

You took the words right out of my mouth. I laughed really loud reading your rant. My family was staring at me like what is so funny. They probably couldn't relate. I've been doing this for 6 months. I have a fairly comfortable mask. I use that term loosely. Nothing is comfortable about this. I woul...

Re: A cure for daytime sleepiness, maybe

I drink tea. I really only like coffee if it is some mocha concoction. I took nuvagil for awhile within conjunction with metadate (extended release ritalin). Nuvagil is expensive so I didn't continue using it since it didn't do anything anyway. Still take ritalin as before. Still could sleep any time.

Re: How Many Of Us Actually LIKE PAP ?

I hate it. Yes I've gotten used to it. I found a mask I tolerate with Pad a Cheek cover to make it mk morre comfy which was a huge. Overall though, no improvement in how I feel. It's been about 7 months now. I've settled on a good setting, AHI always under 2 & consistently under 1. No desats, never ...

I don't think it's intended for use without the mouthpiece.
