Re: Dry mouth with full face quattro mask

Getting a photo of me sleeping with the water tube in my mouth will be hard since it will be dark... ;)

Plus, I'll be asleep.

Re: Dry mouth with full face quattro mask

I've tried quite a few masks but apparently I have the face that only works halfway with the Quattro. I was in a beta trial of a cloth mask but my cheeks have a groove along my nose and nothing seals properly. About the oxy holes in the bottom? No, they won't work but were considered early on. Back ...

Re: Dry mouth with full face quattro mask

My nose isn't shaped right for nasal pillows and they hooked me up on the Quattro 10 years ago, so been doing it all this time.
Here are some photos, can't seem to upload PDF's here on my how-to...

Dry mouth with full face quattro mask

Has anyone else had the problem waking up with a dry mouth when using a full face Quattro mask? I am not usually a mouth breather, but the face mask pushes my jaw down and before you know it, I look like a large mouth bass getting into the boat... I rigged up a way to sip water while I'm thirsty, wi...

CPAPNEA - when adjusting your face mask wakes you up

We have a new word CPAPnea that describes when your cpap mask causes face farts, air leaks, or pressure points requiring you to wake up and adjust them.

Shouldn't there be an alternate counter for them? subtract them from your AHA count?

high cheekbones and mask fitting

Does anyone else have high cheekbones where their mask has to be tightened down severely to make the other areas seal? What masks work in this case? Why does Resmed (and others) not use 3D scanning technology to make standard mask bases with different silicone seals / cushions to fit different faces...

Rebreathing exhaled air?

Has anyone else thought about how much we re-breathe the air we have just exhaled on the ResMed S9 AutoSet machine? I use a Quattro full face mask with the vents at the bridge of my nose and have gotten used to the way it fits and can keep a pretty good seal most of the night. My point is that when ...

Re: Runaway pressure S9 Autoset with H5i and Climate Line. Help?

What is the High setting on the unit set to? My Dr. set my unit after a sleep study and put a limit to 12 on the high side. I changed the ramp time to a minute or so, since it always seemed to ramp up as I was falling asleep and that caused leaks around the mask. I preferred to set it up at the "ope...
