Re: ResMed Power Station II Battery (Backpacking)
I have a few links to digest now. I am leaning towards the Transcend 2 solution. Since the S9 needs 24VDC that means with any battery solution other than theirs have to carry the 24VDC convert to go from 12V to 24V (ounces=pounds=pain). Might be able to design something smaller and more custom, I am...

ResMed Power Station II Battery (Backpacking)
I have an S9 Autoset with a Hi5 and I am looking at the ResMed Power Station II Battery kit (battery, DC Cable, PSU adapter) at 2-lbs seems like a viable solution, if I ditch my humidifier, I might get a couple of nights out of the battery. Looking to see if anyone has any good experience with this ...

Re: Progress with leaks???
The first ResScan download takes a bit, but like SleepyHead the followup downloads are quicker. The problem I had with ResScan was getting a SD card reader it would play nice with.

Re: Leaks and Dry mouth
No fires now, a few inches of snow and 19F mornings take care of that.

Re: insurance won't pay for the sleep test
My sleep center charged $2000 with a 10% discount if you paid the bill in 20 days to eliminate the bureaucracy.

Re: Leaks and Dry mouth
Here in Montana humidifier is a requirement not an option. We had 4% humidity for a while this summer, did not help the fires near my house. I have my humidifier set to 5 any higher and I ended up with water in the tube. I will give the saline up the nose before bed a shot. I figure if I can breath ...

Leaks and Dry mouth
To preface things here I am a 6-month newbie dedicated to the treatment (>60 AHI w/o), the treatment works but I am looking to improve. I have an S9 Autoset Elite with pressure auto set to 8-15. I initially started out with the Mirage FX Nasal mask but soon found out I was a mouth breather. Kind of ...
