Re: First nights with the SleepWeaver elan....

I wound up returning the Elan after working with it for several nights. I was able to gradually improve on the leaks somewhat, but the mask rode up too close to my eye and I just couldn't stand that feeling. I don't like anything right around my eyes. I purchased a starter kit, which comes the Regul...

Re: Wisp is in the US now

Called my DME this morning and was very surprised when they returned my call and said they had ordered the Wisp mask for me. They said I should have it in about a week. If anyone is interested, I'll be happy to review it... Yes, please give a review! I called my DME yesterday to see if they were go...

First nights with the SleepWeaver elan....

.....have not gone very well. My SleepWeaver elan starter kit arrived earlier this week. and It feels like it would be an incredibly comfortable mask if I could just figure out how to stop all the leaks. I've watched the video that came with it several times and tried adjusting the mask like the vid...

Re: Room humidifier recommendations?

No wood, the fireplace and furnace both use gas. Okay, was just a thought because if you did then your house would of course be a lot drier and some people do use wood heat primarily. That's true. Someone here at work asked about my thermostat setting in the house, if that could be affecting the hu...

Re: Room humidifier recommendations?

I am glad you are going to get the humidifier checked out. It shouldn't be using all the water each night and smelling stinky. I am in SW Missouri so not all that far from you and I have my settings pretty much maxed out and I have never run dry on my S9. I always have to add water daily but there ...

Re: SleepWeaver élan small cushion--JOY!

I just can't wait another month! I'm going to break down and order an Elan this morning.

How long do the cloth cushions last on these masks?

I just talked to Resmed's tech support and they said it does sound like a problem with the humidifier. He said it has a 2 year warranty on it - thank goo...

That's a good idea, I'll give them a call this morning. How long did your repairs take?

Thanks!

I'm thinking about ordering this one. It's Amazon's best seller and has good reviews.

Room humidifier recommendations?

For the last few nights, the tank in my S9's humidifier has run dry hours before my alarm goes off. I fill it to the full line every night but I've been waking up between 2:00am-3:00am to the smell of a dry, overheated water tank. I have my climate settings on Auto with the temp at 78 degrees. I'I t...

Re: Ordering machine from cpap.com, call or online order?

Someone mentioned in a post that its better to phone in an order. That they might give a better rate. Don't know where to find that posting again but does it hold any truth? cpap.com already has the lowest price on a machine package I'm buying. Call anyways? I like internet ordering better I prefer...

I wear a size small in every mask I've tried. An XS in any of them would be too small for me....so I'm thinking a regular in the Elan will probably work?

Re: Wisp on the Way

Decided to try the Resperonics Wisp. Clinical Sleep Solutions in Canada has it for $115.00. Seems like a good price. I should have it next week, possibly this week. I'm surprised they have it and cpap.com doesn't. I'm looking forward to using it and posting my impresssions. I'd love to hear your im...
