Liam call your family doc, that's who wrote my Rx, and I believe it has to say auto or you'll get a regular Cpap. He even faxed it to Cpap.com. Good Luck Wen

I've suggestted before to use bandaids or tape for pressure points for the mask. I use tape under the top head pad to minimize irritation. I also use vicks vapor rub just under each nostril to keep sinus open, And Yes I use the inhalers Rhino cort, Atrovent, etc. but the Vicks helps alot. [url=http:...

Hi, I've slept on my back forever. My pressure is at 12.5 but I'm using a new PB420 E so it has been in the 8-10 range. My wife says only need to stick flowers in my hand and I'll look like a corpse. I do alternate bending a knee. Thankfully it miinimizes mask problems, which unfortunately seems to ...

Hi My Pb 420E with software from CPAP.com was $599, the heated humidifier is around $200. The PB is very quiet also and with the lower pressure I decided I did not need the C-flex . The Remstar is so much larger, but of course I'm used to 12.5. I travel alot so size was extremely important. Wen

Hi Everyone, I have used a Remstar Plus for 4 years. I just recently bought the PB 420E mainly because it is so small. Originally I had trouble with it because of mask leaks, the pressure was set from 4-20. My old machine was set at 12.5. I've tweaked the Pb 420 to 8-13.5, I haven't set up the softw...

Power outages or camping

Hi everyone, When ever we loose power or go camping I use a 400 watt power converter. I plug it into my car ciggarette or power port and run a 50' extension cord into the house or tent. It runs my CPAP and a small reading light. Every morning I run the car for about 20 minutes to recharge the batter...

Sleep Meds

Hi everyone, I've noticed alot of people use Ambien. I have used Lorazepam 1 mg for over 10 years. 2 years ago my doctor added Amitriptyline 10mg. They are not sleeping pills but anti-anxiety meds and the doc says you can use them indefinitely. I have no side effects from either. 3 other things help...
