Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE

BTW, just changed my equipment list because it looks like I had it listed as a heated tube. Actually the first humidifier you had chosen is the correct choice even if you don't use a heated hose. The one you are showing now won't even work with your 60 series machine. Unfortunately there isn't a ch...

Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE

Need: - Hose for my machine - Humidifier tank for my machine Can you please clarify the hose request and water chamber/tank request? Do you use a heated hose (has a black coupling on the end that connects to the humidifier lid) or a regular non heated hose? And the water chamber also depends on if ...

Sir NoddinOff wrote:What size Swift FX nasal pillows do you use
Sir NoddinOff, I use the Medium nasal pillows in the Swift FX.
I have a set of Small nasal pillows that are brand new if anyone could use those as a trade, maybe.

Re: Since I don't have insurance... Help w/ supplies?

Folks, thank you for the tips and ideas. I'm heading over to the Great Pillow Exchange thread after posting this reply. I don't do eBay -- too many crooks there. I will check Amazon & Craigslist, though. Also, I'll check cpap.com and call them as well. My machine is good, but the humidifer tank need...

Since I don't have insurance... Help w/ supplies?

Due to health issues, I had to leave my first career in 2013. I'm semi-retired now (do some photography on the side). The down side is that I don't make a lot of money (can't work very much) and I don't have insurance. I need to replace hoses, masks, etc -- but the websites I've tried are a bit on t...

Re: Can CPAP cause depression/anxiety?

I think it is possible for someone to be depressed, initially, when starting cpap therapy. After all, it is a major life adjustment and this, like most many life adjustments, can often cause some depression. You are not yet getting the full benefit from the therapy. You say you have dealt with depr...

Re: Possible to Snore while Using Cpap?

I snore horribly sometimes WITHOUT my CPAP.
My wife says I have never woken her by snoring while using the CPAP, though.
YMMV

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news... but There is no forgiveness here at least until you have been properly scolded for your naughty ways... While stopping treatment does cure leaks, it is not the best way to do this. OK, you're forgiven. <snip>... I have no powers to do this except maybe tha...

Re: (Poll) How Many Hours Do You Sleep A Night?

I'm actually happy to say I'm getting 5-6 hours of sleep a night, though not continuous. That's much better than I used to get before lowering my stress level and starting CPAP therapy.

Re: Would a mask liner help with a beard?

Hard to say, some find mask liners helpful, some don't. Nothing worked for me, including liners, so off came the full goatee and I never looked back. Sorry to hear about his not being able to shave; that's gotta be tough. Others on this forum report success... I suppose it depends on your bother's ...

Well, it's been THREE YEARS since that last post. I recently found my way back here ( something I've been meaning to do for a long time now ). I wanted to give an update, " confess my sins " and get back on the right path. As you can tell from the last statement, I fell off the bandwagon...for about...
