Re: s9 autoset for sale

Oops, yes - it has the H5i humidifier. "s9 autoset" is the model. It's a data capable auto-pap with expiratory pressure relief (0 to 3) - http://www.resmed.com/us/products/s9_series/s9-series.html?nc=patients . My problem is I can't sleep on my side on cpap without severe bloating. If I sleep on my ...

Re: UARS, CPAP Helps, some. FL question

See where the exhalation (downward dropping part of flow graph) seems to disappear right when you have leak? I bet that's a mouth breathe. When you exhale through mouth and are using nasal pillows, the machine doesn't register the exhalation. Possible, but I suspect it's more of this (pre-CPAP pres...

UARS, CPAP Helps, some. FL question

A little over 30 days in. Probably not enough sleep in study for optimal titration but a start (rx 7 cm reduced RDI from 24 to 11). Switching to Swift FX helped after acclimation. Still wake up after part night and/or take mask of mid-night. Sleeping without mask supports decision to go down this pa...

Re: Riddles in the dark

Just got the study results. AHI 0 RDI 23.5 Titration portion was cut short as I woke up at 3 and couldn't get back to sleep on CPAP but showed RDI from 17.5 at 5cm for 45 minutes, 17.0 at 6 for 33 minutes, and 10.6 at 7 for 33 minutes. Hadn't expected but perhaps a little hoped the "after" numbers w...

Re: Zeo bedside discontinued?

The granularity on the Zeo bedside graph is quite coarse. I haven't seen the pro or uploaded data to the web site. The eeg deirivation is non-standard and the staging seems optimistic. Strictly speaking they can't accurately score rem without the eog and emg leads, but looking at the real time outpu...

Re: battery power?

It's unfortunate this thread is such a disaster. I hesitate to add fuel to the fire but if it's helpful to anyone still confused, John has clearly done his homework and Archangel is clearly familiar with the technology. I've lived off the grid for quite a few years and currently own half a ton of de...

Re: The three P's to success.

There's room for both. It's useful information kindly offered, and some attention to a few details in presentation would make it easier to read and more likely to be read.

Thanks for taking the time to write.

Re: battery power?

Anything with a cranking amp rating is a staring battery not made for deep cycle use. It will work but it won't last long. The pates are thin with maximum active surface area, deep discharge physically alters the structure of a battery. Deep cycle batteries (rated in amp hours and only amp hours, so...
