Thanks! That's more encouraging than I expected. I'll be talking to my dentist about this soon, and post on that forum some as well. I do have a sleep study to try cpap within the next few days as well, so, I'll find something to address my issue one way or the other eventually, I'm sure.

Well, if you are BOTH wearing one, I guess it's not THAT big of a turn off..... I donno.... still seems kind of weird, but whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I've got a mild problem with about 9.6 hyponias an hour only during REM sleep. I seem to breath through my mouth a lot, and my wife says I snore loudly in deep sleep. Interesting, actually. They never mailed me my results from the sleep lab, and my doctor never gave them to me. That sleep test was from over 6 months ago. I had an appointment with my ENT doctor and he discussed the sleep test with me at a high-level... basically said that he didn't recommend that ...

Knowing now that too much pressure could cause an apnea as well makes sense to me now, and I can see the importance of needing the sleep study with a machine and why a prescription is needed.
