Re: Does sleep therapy cure the apnea problem?
Agreed - sometimes on holiday I don't use my CPAP, but it really depends on its of factors - alcohol consumption is one of mine, also feel that sleeping on my side or stomach helps - but don't use CPAP for a while, and damn I can feel myself going downhill...

Woke up at night with tremendous pressure and mask leaking
I`m on my third night with my new Icon+, but same full face mask. I woke up more than once on tremendous pressure, and my mask was going `pop` `pop` around my chin. I switched the machine off, and it seemed to solve the issue. What happened here? Is it that the machine sensed it needed pressure, but...

New to Icon+ and a few questions
I`ve changed from a Respironics to an Icon Auto CPAP in the past few days. A few questions: 1. It seems something is warm at the bottom of the machine - the machine is just switched on and off during use at the switch - is this normal? 2. I`m having a noise at night in the tube like a crackle - is t...

Re: Feeling terrible and any ideas appreciated
What I do feel is that when I wake up (2-3 times a night) the machine is putting out much less pressure than in the past. Before I was interactively breathing in and out when I wake up, but now I feel the pressure is much lower, and its like I@m pushing air in and out rather than he machine doing t...

Feeling terrible and any ideas appreciated
I`ve been on CPAP since 2011, and quite happy and settled with the results. I went on holiday in December and my machine fell from the bedside table to the carpeted floor between the table and the bed. I cant say it caused any mechanical damage, but there seems to be some issues occasionally with th...

Re: How long does a CPAP machine last?
Thanks for those views. I let the machine drop when I was on holiday, and maybe its my feeling something has changed, but I do feel that when I wake up there was more `interaction` with the machine on breathing, recently its a bit unresponsive. Maybe its another factor. I feel that I was breathing i...

How long does a CPAP machine last?
I bought a resmed CPAP 3-4 years ago, and used it daily. It`s travelled with me and taken a few knocks. Recently I feel that the air pressure and response if I stop breathing deliberately is not like it was before, and the machine is a little `tired`. Any advice on how long a machine lasts, or what ...

Allergy and night sweats
I`ve had an allergy which makes me sneeze and sniff and its been difficult to put on my mask for more than a few hours a night in the past month. I`ve also had bad night sweats. Any ideas what the interactions are? Can lack of mask use and bad sleep cause night sweats? Is sleeping on my stanch the b...

Re: Sleepyheads missing some data
Many thanks. My version is 0.9.2-2 Not sure about encore software - will google it, and help appreciated I`m not sure how to take a picture, but under the Overview, the top metrics AHI, usage, pressure appear, but the leakage does not. Under the Daily, there is `no data` I`m running a Mac Many thank...

Sleepyheads missing some data
I`m missing daily data (under that tab) after a download, and although some summary data is updated, the leak data etc does not appear. Some data is downloaded, others not. Any ideas how to solve this? Thanks

Re: Strange noise upon exhaling with only mask and hose
Thanks for the replies. I`ve been experiencing this when I`m hooked up and sleeping, and its forced me to take off my mask - any ideas on how to cure this, or is it time for a mask replacement after only 3 months??
