Shortcake- Thanks for the information. Very helpful and one less thing to think about. I'll use bottled water and turn down the humidifier in the machine also.

Traveling to DR with CPAP
I'll be going to Punta Cana, DR later this month with my CPAP machine. Can anyone tell me if I need to bring a special plug or adapter to interface with? I do understand that the standard voltage is 110 like in the states just not sure of the plug type.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Re: pillairo complaint
I had the same problem with the plastic clip on the side breaking. I had to buy a replacement headgear that included the clips.

No Data Available from Data Card
I have a question that i hope someone may have some ideas on. I downloaded the latest version of Sleepyhead to my Macbook Pro and it seemed to load fine. When I plug in the data card from my Respironics 560 machine and try and import data I get a "no data available" message. I use computers all the ...

Re: First Month on CPAP
Thanks pugsy and archangle...yes, I've been lucky in that I've adapted well to the machine. I think that I feel a little better and feel better rested although I didn't feel that bad prior to the machine. Doesn't help that I've had a cold for the last 2 weeks so that may have something to do with ho...

Re: First Month on CPAP
Thanks Pugsy. I'm mostly interested in understanding if these readings are in line with receiving successful therapy. I thought that the AHI index should be lower but maybe not. Interestingly, the primary reason I had the sleep study was for my snoring and the CPAP has done a find job in reducing/el...

Software Question
I have a Respironics 560 machine and have been on CPAP for about a month now. I assume it was set by the DME for the C-Flex mode since I don't see any other options. I guess that's OK. I'd like to get software that would enable me to get a handle on my nightly readings. I've seen a few different sof...

Re: New guy question
Thanks for this post as it is exactly the question I also had. I've only been on CPAP a couple of days and wondering if and when I'd feel any different. Now I realize that it may take some time.
