Re: Philips Respironics Recall V2.0 Questions and Answers
Received my Dreamstation 2 about an hour ago. Considering Phillips initially told me it would ship by the end of January (when I got any information at all about a replacement) I'm pleasantly surprised. One note - on setup basically all comfort options that are mentioned in the quick start guide are...

Re: For Sale: Resmed S9 Autoset CPAP w/Heated Humidifier
Since it still has such low hours, perhaps you can sell it back to Second Wind? Or find out how much they will give you for it, and then raise the price a little bit for sale here. Unfortunately one of the biggest benefits of buying from Second Wind is that they offer the warranty on their used equi...

Re: My S9 Autoset has failed
Thank you for the suggestions. I had tried removing the humidifier first thing, but that made no difference. I am going to meet a member here tomorrow and just do a quick check to see if may be the power brick causing issues. If it isn't, I likely will just purchase a replacement second hand machine...

My S9 Autoset has failed
And I have no backup machine, as my Respironics System one has also failed. Sigh. So last week we had a sick kid and I had to move to the guest bedroom, as my MIL came over to help my wife with our son. I unplugged my S9, moved it to the other room, and when I plugged it back in it went into a rebo...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure
Just as a test, if I purposefully stop breathing with the mask on, shouldn't I be able to feel it try to increase pressure in order to force me to breathe? as others have noted, your machine will *not* increase the pressure during an apnea, your machine does not attempt to breath for you. others wi...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure
It is kind of funny to me considering I came here because I was pretty much convinced that my machine is not delivering enough pressure to be told to lower it. In the past I did have the lower end of the pressure at 12.0 - I had raised it before because of the feeling like I wasn't getting enough ai...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure
- and this was during the time that I was snoring loud enough with my mask on to wake my wife. does the machine show the snoring from those nights? Even though the machine wasn't used since then but for two nights, it has already dumped the detailed data from back in December. I knew it only kept a...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure
But regardless - it isn't blowing 13.6 - 16cmh20. The felt pressure, with the same mask and hose, between the two machines is immense. You can drop the cmh20, that is assumed. You can't know what it is blowing without testing. A local DME can do that easily or you can either make your own DIY Manom...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12663092/daily.JPG What I am saying is that I don't believe that the data being presented here is correct. If you look back over time - say to when I last was using the machine before the last couple nights - my AHI was between .14 and .68 - and this was during t...

You S9 is set to the following: http://i.imgur.com/rGdcWp6.png Yes, I believe I mis-typed before. I hadn't checked it just before posting - I had last looked at it a couple weeks ago. But regardless - it isn't blowing 13.6 - 16cmh20. The felt pressure, with the same mask and hose, between the two m...

Re: S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure
So here's a screen cap of my statistics. I do not have any leaks within the system itself. AHI has been poor over the last couple nights, but when going back to when I last used the machine, my AHI was very low - and that would have been when I was snoring and waking up my wife, so I'm not really su...

S9 Autoset not delivering correct pressure
Hi All - I'm hoping you can help me determine if I need to send it off for service, or what might be incorrect. For a while now my wife has told me that I've been snoring with my mask on at night. I've chalked it up to me falling asleep before the machine has finished ramping, but this was shown to ...

Re: Resmed AirSense just released...will Respironics be next
Well we will see - I have a bunch of Flex Spending dollars to burn before the end of the year (over 1K) so I've been thinking about buying a new machine, even though my S9 Autoset is still fine. From what I've read here though, it doesn't seem like it really has that many additional features?
