Re: Help Choosing a Mask
Is there another mask worth trying? Has anyone in a similar situation had any luck with a Total Face Mask or Hybrid Mask? (My DME provider recommended against each of them when I met with them to exchange the Quattro FX.) I love my Mirage Liberty Hybrid, as a mostly side sleeper I manage to wear it...

Re: Here we Go!
Lincare was the company that came and picked up my machine when I lost my Medicaid coverage, found out I lost my coverage that morning they picked the machine up that afternoon. I had supplies in the process of being mailed when this occurred so I refused to accept the package when it arrived so I w...

Mirage Liberty I think I Found the one!
From what I have read on this forum I know the Mirage Liberty Hybrid is not the mask for everyone but I think it may be the one me. Hopefully I am not speaking to soon but I am so happy I had to share. So far I have only used it 2 nights and only have the data from last night but oh what data it was...

Re: Evidently I'm an idiot...
I did not push the card all the way into the slot One of the benefits of turning your S9 off at the power outlet (when you have finished with it after sleeping) is that when you turn it on again the following evening, it will display a warning message for a while if there is no SD card propely inse...

Evidently I'm an idiot...
Apparently when I put my SD card into my S9 after transferring my data to my computer I did not push the card all the way into the slot. So evidently I'm a complete idiot. So when I got up this am to to upload my data the was not much there just "This day just contains summary data, only limited inf...

Re: questions about pressure settings
memapenguin, please disregard my earlier suggestions. Pugsy is the #1 expert, and I happily defer to her advice! Actually it is good advice. It got me to look harder at the graphs because I thought "huh" that AHI is fine...and I hadn't looked any further. So what you said was sound advice based on ...

Re: questions about pressure settings
Okay, just watch the flow limitations to see if they stay looking ugly like that second half. See what they look like after the stress has reduced and hopefully the allergies will reduce. Do you see how nice and flat the Flow limitation is between 1 and 2 AM? That's what we like to see with maybe a...

Re: questions about pressure settings
What happened the second half of the night? While no apneas of any consequence your flow limitations are what is driving the pressure so high roughly the second half of the night. Something change big time for the flow limitations to get so ugly. Do you sleep on your back? Maybe you were on your ba...

questions about pressure settings
Since I got my RESMED machine I have been using it in autoset mode attempting to "dial in" my numbers. I noticed that all my OA's were in the first hour of usage, when I was trying to go to sleep so I bumped my min from 8 to 9.6 (my med was averaging 11.6 so I went 2 lower) and a couple days later I...

Re: pressure settings question
I would use the ClimateLine until I got control of the rainout issue. Make sure the machine is LOWER than your head (water cannot travel uphill... unless it's pushed...). For one night, I'd place my machine either on the floor or on a milk crate or phone books to see if that helps on the rainout is...

Re: pressure settings question
Hello memapenquin, Though I am personally a big fan of downloads and all the wonderful help they can be, I'm leaning toward the sheriff on this one. There really are two sides to this issue. I have seen people with terrible data that felt great and some with perfect data that felt awful. As far as ...

Re: pressure settings question
Are you using the Climateline Hose? Sheriff yes I am Squid13 gave me one when he gave me the machine. I do have a question about it though, can I use it all year round or do I need to switch to my old hose as it continues to get warmer? I hope not, the other hose I have (from the old machine/DME) i...

Re: pressure settings question
As NotLazy asked: how do you feel? For me...your leak rates are high (I know Pugs.... just sayin') but if you feel better, with such a low AHI, you are on the right track... Let us know.... Sheriff I am a bit concerned about my leak rate as well, I was reading another post that was made about using...
