Re: aveoTSD, Tongue Stabilizing Device
I have the device and am trying to get use to it. I start with CPAP until my usual 2 am trip to the bathroom and then I switch to the Aveo. It is starting to become more comfortable. I explained in an earlier thread that I purchased it for an upcoming 7 day rafting trip..... In fact I leave in 3 day...

Re: My experience with AveoTSD
I ordered this device about a week ago. It should be here this week. I plan on using it for 7 nights rafting through the Grand Canyon. I'll post a report when we are back in mid-May.

Not buyin in to the scare statements after 64 years living without the machine. Anyway that's what life insurance is for.... waiting for one of the Chicken Littles to tell him transportation home in a coffin is more expensive.

Re: Aveo TSD Dental Device?
Battery.... charger.... pelican case.... $400.00. This trip is getting too expensive. I might try the Zyppah and run it by my sleep Dr. at my February follow up appointment. I appreciate the suggestions. The battery setup looks sweet.

Re: Aveo TSD Dental Device?
The Aveo thing looks like it makes sense to me..... for short time use when CPAP can not be used. I never knew I had sleep issues until I had a knee replacement and the anesthesiologist suspected that I had SA. I never had headaches.... never felt tired.... always got up for work at 6:00am... sleep ...

Aveo TSD Dental Device?
Has anyone had any successful results with this device? http://www.glidewelldental.com/dentist/ ... o-tsd.aspx
I'm still looking for a solution to living without CPAP during a 7 day rafting/camping trip in May..... not as a permanent replacement.

Re: S9 and SD card errors
The only thing that works for me is using different (better) SD card. The Resmed cards seem to have issues as they age. Possibly the contacts are cheap. Any other brand seems to work with no problems.

Re: SD card says no data
I've had the same problem. The only thing that works for me is to download whatever data is present on the card and not use it again. Simply put in a new SD card and the problem goes away..... for a while. Others have suggested trying to clean the contacts on the card..... that also may work..... fo...

Re: SD Card Issue
Thanks to all. I'll try a new card.... hoping that the problem is not with the APAP slot.

SD Card Issue
Has anyone had an issue with the S9 SD card? Every once in a while I see the message NO SD Card even though it has been properly inserted. I then extract and re-insert and it reads the card. Another issue is that at times the SD card records summary data and misses the deatailed data. I download the...

Re: CPAP and White Water Rafting
Thanks for comments. We will be traveling very light for these 7 days.... so I'll forego the CPAP unless I can find a small windup one. My small camera is waterproof.

Re: CPAP and White Water Rafting
Thanks to both of you. The Provent looks interesting and I may investigate using an oral device. After my sleep test I remember the doctor mentioning that even though I have sever apnea (66AHI)... my ox level remained good. You are right about the snoring issue.... I don't want to be left behind or ...
