Re: Humidifier Problem on PR System One REMStar 60
So last night I put it back to System One mode again and the problem reoccurred. So I'm guessing there is a problem with my hose or the connection on the humidifier that carries the temperature reading from the hose to the CPAP unit. Suspect the hose. I will stay with the manual setting with System ...

Re: Humidifier Problem on PR System One REMStar 60
there's a thermometer at the end of the hose, so that the machine doesn't have to guess how much to heat the hose up. Maybe that's my problem then. When I get another hose, this should help determine if that's the problem. Again, even though I don't see an adjustment for hose temperature in Classic...

Re: Humidifier Problem on PR System One REMStar 60
Wow Pugsy, that is a very kind offer! I can PM you my address and once you know the shipping cost, I can either mail you a check or do an e-mail bank transfer. A check might be the best way. If you happen to have a Paypal account, I could also do it that way. Although I couldn't find a way to adjust...

Re: Humidifier Problem on PR System One REMStar 60
Thanks Pugsy! No I don't have a spare hose but mine probably should be replaced anyway. Problem is that if I order a new humidifier, a new hose is included but I'm far from convinced the problem is with the humidifier and I don't want to order a new hose on its own if it turns out I need a new humid...

Re: Humidifier Problem on PR System One REMStar 60
So last night I turned off the System One Humidification which puts my machine into Classic (manual) mode. I set the Humidification to C3 and everything seemed to work! No dryness and much more water was consumed from the tank! By the way, I don't see a way to control the heated tube temperature wit...

Humidifier Problem on PR System One REMStar 60
After three years, my humidifier seems to stop working during the night every night. I can see it is working when I turn on the warm up mode prior to bedtime and the plate heats up but every night I wake up with dry nasal passages and the plate is cold. This is my third winter and before now, I've a...

Re: Need Advice 3-Months In
Thanks pugsy, that makes sense. Maybe I'll move it up from 6 to 8. Any thoughts on the A-flex setting?

I'm having the same problem: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t84726/Need-Advice-3Months-In.html Do you have any software to post your data? For me, it might be as simple as not being as diligent as when I first began. For example, I think I've been going to bed a bit later which means I'm more tir...

Need Advice 3-Months In
Hi All, I just got sleepyhead software working with my PR 60 series on my Mac. Thanks to pugsy for coordinating this and to the coder(s) that made this happen! Hoping I can get some advice from you all. I've tried to post some charts. Hopefully they are not too big. I'm three months in with CPAP. Fi...

Re: Min. Pressure Tweaking?
Mine is a 560. Date of manufacture from the label is 20120611 (June). Strange.
I don't suppose that there is an easy way to update the software.
Too bad! Sounds like a nice feature to try!

Re: Min. Pressure Tweaking?
I have this same machine but sadly no mention of the optistart feature as referenced. My user manual is dated 3/29/2012.
I bought my machine from Cpap.com in August.

Thanks for the quick replies!
My head was forward more like the first picture as I was initially trying to keep more of my mask straps off of my pillow. My machine range is at the original setting of 4-20.
