pink cheeks/white around the mouth?

So, CPAP therapy is going great. Almost a month in and my energy level is way up and my tiredness is way down. I am still having some issues with face irritation but I can live with it, it is pretty minor. My AHI has been 1-2 most nights, so for a dx of Severe Apnea I am thrilled. However, the stran...

DME's response to error...

So, my DME gave me a heated tube humidifier but it wasn't working. Finally I figured out they hadn't given me the correct 80 watt power supply when they gave me the humidifier, I had a 60 watt supply. I called them and explained they needed to swap out the power supply for the correct one, and they ...

Re: new machine and numbers are nuts!!

I went from the non heated to the heated hose, but because I have the 60 series I can only use Encore Basic to look at the data right now.

Re: Where do you put your xpap?

I bought a folding stepstool and I use that at night, then fold it up and put the cpap machine up high during the day where my kids won't fiddle with it. The stepstool is the perfect size for my cpap. http://www.amazon.com/Kikkerland-Rhino-Easy-Stool-Short/dp/B004VNYXAU/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=13457...

Eureka!

Soooooo, I figured out why my heated tube won't work!! Always looks at the simple things, first, eh? Drumroll, please.... When the DME gave me the heated tube humidifier they didn't give me the 80 watt power supply that goes with it! Ta-da! I just have the 60watt one it came with originally that won...

Re: System one heated humidifier tube manual?

I am suspicious that they made it harder to change settings. My DME mentioned that they used to have problems with "mostly men" who would "get into their machines and change their pressures" so now there is "only one way to get into the machine, there used to be more".... Kind of curious what the re...

Re: System one heated humidifier tube manual?

Well, I did look, thanks for the suggestion. Alas, the lock was already off. Thanks for trying anyway! I don't know why that and the tubing type are the only things locked when nothing else is. It is weird.

Re: System one heated humidifier tube manual?

Yes I got the encore basic, thanks, works great.

I did go into the clinical setup menu but the "heated humidifier tube" setting still shows a locked icon even in that menu. Any ideas? If not I guess I can call the DME and have them come out, but I would like to avoid that.

Re: System one heated humidifier tube manual?

So last night, it seems the heated hose never turned on and the setting to turn it on is locks in Setup. Pugsy, would you be willing to PM me that manual as well? If it isn't too much trouble.

The red humidifier symbol switched right over to blue.

System one heated humidifier tube manual?

My DME gave me the PR System One humidifier with a heated tube, but they forgot to give me the manual. I am trying to find it but no luck. Anyone have a link? Phillips website is hard to navigate. Basically I am trying to find out if it is still ok to use a cover on the tube or is it bad for heated ...

Re: Eye-fi for CPAP Machines?

Maybe I will email them, would be interesting to hear their response. I bought the pro not for raw file capability, but for the ad hoc network capability.
