sleep study- spasticity invol jerking vs. plm/rls
i had 'night vision' recording of my sleep study. i noticed in the report submitted to the referring pulmonist differences in what i recall experiencing and what they reported. the report said i was 'sleeping' for x # minutes/hours. well as far as eyes closed , yes- but actually 'sleeping' not so mu...

Re: Correct type machine?
ref- central apneas- i have read and been told that C-Pap can actually make central apnea worse... i went thru sleep eval this spring. had to go on c-pap first during titration- had to prove* to medicaid that c-pap was not effective or made my breathing worse.. crazy huh? you have to be made to feel...

myoclonus increased with apneas /hypopneas
i have spasticity which seems is worsened by apneas. it's like an alarm of 'fail safe' mechanism... i am awakened with the involuntary jerkings- sometimes the index finger, other times might be the foot or at worst 'jack-knife jerking of my midsection.

Re: new user- heated hose gurgling, noisy
thank you 4 your response. will ck w/ supplier monday. btw based on diff symtoms- they are requesting ins. switch to machine that can adjust (breath by breath?) and not let me 'bottom out' due to 'Cheyne Stokes breathing' . said there would be a 'set rate' ... to safeguard against this. i did not no...
