Re: lincare complaints
This will be a long post but I have not but positive experiences with Lincare and have dealt with 2 offices in 2 separate states. Here is my story. Back in 2012 after a bout with pneumonia I was put on oxygen 24/7. The day I was released from the hospital they delivered a big concentrator. The tech ...

Re: Swift fx pillows
When I first got my equipment I tried using the pillows for a month. They got floppy after about 2-3 weeks just kept adjusting the back strap. Didn't know they should be washed... So when I started getting 2 per month I changed them regularly on the 1st and 15th. The new ones seen to have a sweet sm...

Re: ResMed S9 Filter schedule
Medicare authorize 2 white filters every month and 1 black foam filter every 3 months. So I change the white 1 every other week and wash the black one every other week.

Re: oxygen and bipap
I have been using O2 with my CPAP since day one. There is an attachment that goes between the humidfier and the mask hose. It blocks the O2 from back flowing into the humidfier. My DME actually didn't know about it until I called them and told them that the user manual said it was required when usin...

Re: Specifically ... Southwest Airlines
When I flew SW not only did I carry-on a portable concentrator and my cpap (which did not count) but I also carried on my pc and my overnight bag. One more thing in addition to the free 2 checked bags if you have a bag that is nothing but medical supplies like me (bp meter, extra test strips, pen ne...

Why is flow rate missing?
I use a Respironic machine but don't like using Basic so here is a image from Sleepy Head. I wasn't home 12/24 so there is no data for that day. However what I don't understand is why flow rate for 12/17 and 1/3 show none but shows activity on AHI and Usuage. Any explanation would be helpful. http:/...

Haven't had a Hostess product in years. My favorite pasteries is Tastey Kake, when I eat them. Diabetic so don't eat them often.

Re: Complaints about Lincare
Good news When I talked to Lincare today I told them that I would not switch from the Swift FX mask to the GoLife mask if they no longer carried the Swift and that I would switch to another DME she immediately said that they WOULD continue to supply me with the Swift. Imazing what they will do if th...

Re: Complaints about Lincare
I have had good service with them since I was first put on oxygen last January. They were at my home right when they said. When I got my first statement, I explained that there was no way I could afford that amount every month. So they approved a reduced payment. When I was dx with apnea and needed ...

Re: Swift FX Bella Nasal Ear Loops????
If I understand all the posts here you can use the Bella Nasal Ear Loops instead of the Swift FX for Her headgear and continuing using the Swift pillows that I prefer. My DME said that they may not carry the Swift products in the future so I may have to pay out of pocket or find another DME. If the ...
