Re: If Anyone Needs Convincing Evidence!
Thank you Dori for posting that incident. It really brings home how important it is to stick with this treatment. I know several people who have been diagnosed or who know they have it, yet they won't use the equipment. It's working for me, my numbers are good, more importantly I feel good. Every ni...

This thread seems to have diverted away from the original poster and his needs/issues. May I suggest that, Salton, you start your own thread to discuss your issues, so that DavidCarolina's can be addressed here?

snore snore snore, that's me at the moment, once I get to sleep the machine does its magic but if I'm progressively getting more stressed with every snort arousal/hypoapnea before I get to sleep, then the deep sleep may never come so I want to share this last night had all the makings of a hell nig...

Re: advice please from all you long timers!
Hi there Bipap working well for me but getting generally annoyed by nasal pillows - they fall out, they injure my nose and I'm always trying to adjust them because I sleep on my side and what invariably happens is this moves the mask and the things then start annoying me. It's a good mask but I wan...

Re: New treatment for sleep apnea?? Seriously??
How stupid is that? LOL It prevents sleep apnea by "waking you up" ??? Sleep apnea already wakes you up. That's the problem. We're trying to stay asleep, and go through all the stages of sleep to feel refreshed. What's better, having arousals from apnea or having arousals from the arm of a bear pill...

Re: Proposal to webmaster.
And ... to add to what Robysue said, there are newbies who sign up here who DON'T HAVE equipment yet. Under the OP's suggestion (if I'm reading it correctly) there would be no way for them to sign up here, because they wouldn't have a machine to list, or a mask, or anything else, YET. I like the way...

Re: Proposal to webmaster.
Many people don't yet have their machines when they first post so there's not much point in 'forcing' them to list them. "Every time a new member shows up here so must old members tell the new registering their cpap and mask and stuff. I myself have installed this kind of forum (phpBB3) and know th...

Re: What's the best way to reduce leaks - new problems with nuan
Some people on this forum have made their own cut-out pillows. You can do a search here. If you buy some foam, just make cut-outs in each side to suit you and what you like. Then cover it with a pillow case or make a custom-shaped cover for it.

Re: What's the best way to reduce leaks - new problems with nuan
That side sleeper pro pillow is not designed for cpap use. It's just a general side sleeping pillow. It doesn't have cut-outs for your mask to fit into, like proper cpap pillows have. And since it doesn't, your mask may still be pressing into the pillow at night when you lay on your side, which will...

Do you mean before you were on ANY xpap treatment of any kind?Ruinednose wrote:It's just that i was experiencing this way worse when i was not yet on bipap
Or do you mean when you were on cpap/apap, before you started bipap?

Re: Stomach belching and burping (not aerophagia)
Oh my good GOD Avi! He already ASKED HIS QUESTION in his first post! How about you go elsewhere with your very huge attitude. Ruinednose, it sounds like you do have aerophagia, which basically is when your mouth opens while you're using cpap, and you swallow air. That air sits in your stomach and hu...

Re: Hello from a new member and help with these damn leaks
daveinar, have you tried a nasal pillows mask? You might consider it. Less mask on your face, so there are fewer leaks.
