When the question is "snoring?", The answer is almost always. "More pressure", try bumping your min to 9.
Thank you for the input. It was still rough for me after 5 5 hrs last night. I'll give 10 a shot.

Snoring Myself Awake After 6 hours_Oscar Within

I'm using an older Philips Remstar Auto; no humidifier (not available in Profile settings) without DME. Long time of mostly lurking. Hoping someone can help. I'm a stomach sleeper using P10s. While head turned to right I was (what felt like) snoring myself awake many times after about 5.5-6 hours. I...

Re: Best CPAP/APAP bundle for $600?

The main issue for me is that I have been a stomach sleeper for decades not sure if there is anything out there for that. I do sleep with my head to the side but I am on my stomach most of the night. Me too... P10 pillows have worked decently for me except the headgear is garbage for my mellon. Goo...

Edit: No longer looking. Hello, looking for a few new P10 Med pillows if you are inclined to sell to a yank. I have nothing to trade. Thx for reading.

Re: Stomach Sleeper, Desperate, SleepyHead Pic Within

Thanks for the input Sleepy and Pugsy. You understand my situation, Sleepy. Were you in Finance? Prior to learning my job was being lost I slept 7-8 hours a night. I can appreciate how getting up early and sleeping again later might help. However, I am so tired upon waking... when I do not take slee...

Stomach Sleeper, Desperate, SleepyHead Pic Within

I mostly lurk since I haven't figured this out yet. This board has always been informative and helpful. I'm afraid that I am now desperate for help and thought I would start here. History: - About 2.5 years ago I had a sleep study and measured 60 episodes/hour. - I failed compliance with nasal mask ...

Nasal Pillows: Swift FX for Her ok for Him?

While looking for medium replacement pillows I found the "For her" variety on Amazon (not gender-neutral variety). Are these ok for dude use? Size and construction likely the same as what came with my original kit? Last, will I need to do extra manly things to keep my man card if I buy these? Many t...

Re: New Machine-New Attitude: Now What?

Hi All, Note: I do not have the benefit of professional assistance and realize that I should. A new, high-deductible medical plan has made this difficult for me. Over the past 40 nights I have used 36 nights with >4 hrs on all but three of those nights. I've downloaded the sleepyhead software but do...

Re: New Machine-New Attitude: Now What?

Thanks for all of the feedback and advice. I have a Quattro, nose-only, and pillows for mask selection. I tried the Quattro for the first night and it seemed glib. I used the nose-only on my first go-around. I tried the pillows the last two nights. Too tight the first night. Last night I kept pillow...

New Machine-New Attitude: Now What?

Hi All. After a two-month failed attempt last year I let my CPAP go back due to lack of compliance. I struggled as I am a stomach sleeper and also woke up many times throughout the night. I also wake up many times throughout the night without CPAP but can usually get back to sleep relatively easy. W...

Re: Multiple Wake Ups... Can it be fixed? Any Experiences?

Hi folks. I hope everyone is enjoying their fall. I have only been able to tolerate the machine for a meaningful length of time when I take 5-10 mgs of Zolpidem (generic Ambian). When I don't take the meds it takes 60-90 minutes to fall asleep. I wake up in about 60 minutes without and five hours wi...

Re: Multiple Wake Ups... Can it be fixed? Any Experiences?

Thanks, all. I appreciate the encouragement to keep on and sharing your experiences. I have an elite and will start diving into the process of learning how to read the data. No RLS was noted.

@AVI123: Ambian, eh? Are you off of it now? Are you sleeping longer than three hours at a time now?

Multiple Wake Ups... Can it be fixed? Any Experiences?

Hi, all. I have been lurking here for a couple months. I have been rocking the S9 for a couple weeks. I use a nasal mask and setting of 13. I was diagnosed with 60 episodes per minute. Before CPAP therepy, I would wake up after 2.5-3 hrs of falling to sleep and then about every 45 mins.to an hour fo...
