never having paid any taxes whatsoever. Really, facts are important... Check their financials, please, before speaking. You've selected facts to fit your narrative. Yes, they're great about collecting taxes on what they sell and whom they pay. But payroll taxes are workers' money; sales taxes are c...

I think it's more that body type and anatomical characteristics can be inherited. I'm sure my father had severe OSA and I pretty much inherited his physique.

Oh....and you're welcome for the oil and gas. Perfect example of a business highly dependent on infrastructure. Nicely done. The oil and gas business have pretty much built their own infrastructure and are independent of the federal government. The only thing the federal government does for the oil...

Re: OT - You Didn't Build It
Using North Korea as an argument against infrastructure spending is like using Westboro Baptist Church as an argument against Christianity.

Re: OT - You Didn't Build It
Can't argue any of that! Yessir, California's doing great! That's why your towns are going bankrupt. Keep voting for Nancy. You got me there; we have no successful businesses in California. Well, there's a filling station in Barstow that's barely hanging on, but pretty much desert other than that. ...

Re: OT - You Didn't Build It
You sound like Pelosi. Businesses, they're so strong and independent and build everything by themselves, but they can't survive Nancy Pelosi, the minority leader of the most ineffectual body of government in the world, who couldn't even get her own party to pass legislation when she had the majorit...

Re: OT - You Didn't Build It
Yes, there are zero successful businesses in SF. There's basically no economy here whatsoever. Small business, large industry, there's nothing, just one big government wasteland from Marin to Silicon Valley. That's why nobody lives here, certainly no entrepreneurs. Send help, comrade! We're being so...

Re: OT - You Didn't Build It
For being so industrious and self-reliant, US business owners sure like to whine a whole lot. Whine about taxes, whine about regulations, whine about socialism. If the government is so oppressive, go somewhere else and run your business. Oh wait, that's right--there IS nowhere else. I can't wait to ...

Re: Sore throat....is it possible for CPAP to cause it?
I'm currently two weeks into CPAP and have a very sore throat today. It's improved somewhat since I switched to a nasal mask, but today the doctor said my vocal cords are inflamed and I see an ENT tomorrow. I know correlation is not causation, but it'd be a huge coincidence if this wasn't cpap-relat...

My EPR is at 3 and there's definitely some mask movement as a result. I don't mind it too much, and the EPR really helps me.

Re: Pilairo!
Third night on Pilairo, the first pillows I've tried. I don't find the fit too tight and I have a large head. But I do have pain in the nostrils in the morning, though it goes away quickly and seems to be getting better. Putting the strap below my ears makes the seating/angle feel weird. My leak lin...

Re: Anyone else have grogginess at first?
I'm two weeks in and just now starting to have deep, restful nights, showing good numbers, but I am still very groggy in the mornings. I'm not sleeping as much, tending to wake up naturally after 8 hours, which is new for me, but still very groggy.

Re: Is the S9 event data questionable at best?
I wonder if during the sleep study the EEG data is used as the primary diagnostic for events as well as sleep stages. Or if it's correlated with the PAP/O2 data. I also recall sensors being placed on my upper lip to measure airflow. It seems like the machines' algorithms would be tested for accuracy...

Re: Is the S9 event data questionable at best?
Yeah, I have clusters Even moderate leaks for me result in huge AHI spikes, and I'm pretty sure those are legit. Looked again, and it seems like a combination of lower flow rate overall (shallow breathing?) and intermittent leaks caused the false positive events from my non-nap yesterday. In contras...
