Empty stomach and AHI
Hello all! My AHIs have been running below 1 for a couple weeks, yay me! I'd been having up to 12 centrals/night, and lowering my minimum pressure from 6 to 5, and using the Swift FX exclusively made a huge difference for me. I decided to forgo a bedtime snack for a couple of nights, and it went up ...

Re: Bloody nose
Yes, '1' is the lowest humidity. I'd turn it up to at least 3 or 3.5, for starters. I like it at 4 most of the time.

Re: Please help me adapt to this :(
Mirassi, welcome! This is a very friendly place, a good place to get the answers you seek. In my case I opted for a FF mask (Mirage Quattro), because I know that there are times that I need to breathe through my mouth. I had one night where I lay down and started to feel claustrophobic, and I said t...

Re: Pilairo!
I gave up on the Pilario. I could not get over how noisy it was, and after we reduced my low pressure to 5, it didn't inflate enough to be stable. I figured out where to put the hose for the Swift FX, and now I'm using that every night to good effect! Much easier than the FF Quattro, which was makin...

I've had 3 different cards - at first the Autoset, then the Escape, now the Autoset again.
That's good to know! THanks... I'll look for it now.

No, went to bed at 12:30am and up around 8am.
I know that hte numbers should look better. It's just weird.
I'm worried that if I reinstall, I'll lose my data. Perhaps someone knows where it's stored, so I can back it up.

Sure, if I can figure out how to post a pic, I will.
I now have the pic... what do I do with it?

Problem w/Sleepyhead on Mac
Hi all! Love the forum. I have an S9 Autoset, and have been monkeying around with the settings per MD's orders to see if I can reduce the number of clear airway events that I've been having. They have been between 1.52 and 0.22 of my AHI over the past 2 weeks. I know that's not much at all, and I de...

Re: Pilairo!
I'm going to give it another try tonight - though it's really hard for me to fall asleep because of how noisy the mask is compared to the Swift FX.
But if the pillow only lasts 6 weeks... Oh my. That's not good.

I haven't heard anything like that, but I have heard *OF* such things. Truly creepy. I vote for Gabriel's trumpet.
Edited to add: I'd give anything to hear that in person!

Boiling pillows? What about cushions?
Hello all, I've read some of the threads about boiling pillows, but what about boiling cushions, like the one for the Mirage Quattro? I have some older ones that I've been re-using, and it seems that after a while they start to leak much more easily. I'd like to save some $$ by re-using them longer....

I have both the Small and the Ex-Small... and can use either.
Now that I have a full data machine, I'll be able to figure out which is better for me.
Truth be told, I *think* that the Small feels better.
Oooh... gotta go! Big thunderstorm, thank heavens! We need the rain!

Re: Pilairo!
I got my trial Pilario last night, and couldn't make it work... yet. My nose got damp and sweaty from contact with the pillow, so today I spent some time with an old t-shirt and some scissors. I came up with something that will stay in place between me and the pillow... and I'm going to give it anot...
