Re: OSCAR 2.0 is Available
Thanks to an Apnea Board member, an installer for Mac Silicon is now available on https://sleepfiles.com/OSCAR Thanks so much for this...an alternate way to run the app on a mac the first time is to go into System Settings -> Privacy and Security and enable "run anyway" for OSCAR20. A little simple...

Re: OSCAR 2.0 is Available
Yes, when you run OSCAR 2.0 it will ask you where your 1.71 data lives and will import it. Really appreciate the effort that goes into these releases. Having been a software release engineer in another life, I understand the issues. Have a mac desktop here. OSCAR 2.0 couldn't copy the data from the...

Re: Brevida Bozo
Thank you Pugsy! Unfortunately I don't think either of those masks would work for me because I use a hose lift gizmo so I don't have to worry about dragging the hose with me (I turn a lot). What I like about the Swift FX is that it has that "ball joint" connection that allows the hose to swivel. If...

Re: What's going on at cpap.com?
There is a store in Vegas I found a couple of years ago when visiting my daughter and needed an emergency hose. They were super easy to work with. https://www.cpapstoreusa.com/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=18100928101&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7fbLBhDJARIsAOAqhscQE2eV9ypBYUb0_74QlO5LDrvxNKDTLJe59HmjQ-TJGsJI5Wtg...

Re: What's going on at cpap.com?
I've also steered a number of people to cpap.com over the years. Sad to hear that they've gone downhill. Shopping for another provider that has a 30-day money back guarantee if a new mask doesn't work out, I see that there are several on the internet. Having that guarantee made me a bit braver when ...

Re: Best Pillow For Side Sleeper?
Another side sleeper, currently using the Pillow Cube...24" wide, 5" thick. Kind of like a slab of memory foam, but the shape of it encourages you to sleep on your side. Been good for some time now, maybe a year. Thinking of trying a different cube type pillow, that's more like 6" thick and 14" wide...

Re: If you have ever considered a backup battery for your cpap
I've used the ResMed DC /DC converters when camping, and yes, they work just fine. They stay on as long as the battery that they're connected to stays on. Sometimes you have to go to the source to get a product that works well. You might pay a little more, but you have a supported product made to d...

Re: If you have ever considered a backup battery for your cpap
Good morning, Are any of you using a Resmed Air11 DC/DC Converter with an Ecoflow Delta 1300 (the original)? I've tried two brands of third-party DC converters but they power off and back on every 1-2 minutes so they aren't usable. I wonder if the Resmed converter would work for running my Airsense...

Re: Mysterious banning for spam has hit again...
Holding my breath this time. Been a victim too of this too often, but at least at this point I have some workarounds in my back pocket *smile*. It is a shock though, to be banned for no apparent reason. Especially if one has never been banned from a forum before.

Re: Help! Shingles on face need new mask ASAP
An OT comment on shingles...both time I had shingles I was able to take an oral anti-viral, which shortened the duration of the rash and decreased the other symptoms. And the second time around I used aloe gel on the shingles rash areas, and that really helped speed up healing even more. And decreas...

Re: Mysterious banning for spam has hit again...
Couple of ways of dealing with your banned IP: - Use a VPN so that your public IP address is the address that the VPN gives out. - Change a couple of digits in your router's MAC Address on the right end (least significant digits) of your MAC Address. This causes your ISP to generate a new IP address...

Re: Am I screwed?
Sounds like you haven't started with CPAP yet. Yes, there are lots of different CPAP masks, I'm sure that you can find one that works for you. This forum is a good source of help to get you over the bumps and pot holes that may come up. The main thing is to stop worrying until you actually have some...

Re: The new F & P Solo nasal pillow mask & F & P Nova Micro mask
Just got the new Nova Micro. Looked like it might work for a bearded side-sleeper. Kind of a cradle nasal cushion crossed with a nasal pillows cushion. Going to try it tonight for the first time, have high hopes. As long as it doesn't get pushed around by my pillow too much, might work :-).

Re: What is the best nasal CPAP mask for not leaking?
RogerSC, Do you find the straps of the N30 to be problematic? My machine came with the P10 (same straps) and was problematic as it needed to be overly tight to keep it in place. Bought the N30i with the hollow tube, back strap and top connection to be far more secure without cranking the straps. No...
