Re: Using Resmed S9 oximeter - daily advice please

Do you actually have the ResMed brand Oximeter kit? Who did you buy it from? What did you have to pay for it? Yes, this is the Resmed Oximeter kit. Sleeplinks (a DME in Flowood, MS - 601-932-3744 contact person Crystal) got it for me. I am in Florida - local DME wanted $1654 - 2 other online compan...

Re: OT happy veterans day

Here in Australia Nov11 is Remembrance day. Originally it was to remember those who died in WW1, now it's to remember those who died in all wars/conflicts. ANZAC day April 25th is when we thank our veterans. Armistice Day (which coincides with Remembrance Day and Veterans Day, public holidays) is c...

[quote="purple"]An ASV, without the proper settings, combined with some health problems can kill people, or cause real physical damage to the patients bodies.

Is there documented proof?

Re: Could AutoASV machines be used for everyone?

I have both S9 models 36007 & 36037. The Epap is the only difference I can tell. I used my ASVauto 36037 with my epap auto adjusting between the settings. I found my AHI went up in ASV auto mode. I change the settings back to standard ASV (fixed epap) my AHI went back down. I'm sure it depends on e...

Re: Could AutoASV machines be used for everyone?

While it can treat all sorts of issues, the fact that it can does not mean that it's an easy adjustment to ASV therapy. I spend most of my time helping others adjust to the therapy. If everyone was given an ASV unit, I suspect the "drop out" rate would be much higher than 50%. Some people take to i...

Re: Aussie Newbie

A belated welcome to the forum, Winter, from a fellow Queenslander (in Bundy.) It's a total pain not being able to easily get affordable ResMed gear in Australia, and this is an unfortunate pox on their company. I started out with Philips Respironics, ordered from our hosts here at CPAP.com (and sa...

Re: I have been banned from the ASAA Board

Avi FYI Bundaberg is the area I live in, I don't actually live in Bundaberg city, you see, the area covers 16000 sq miles, so you don't really know where I live. Do you see what you have done? I'm now becoming as perdantic as you Yes I did ask for your help, I was new on the forum & you responded to...

Re: I have been banned from the ASAA Board

I am going to ask Daniel at ASAA if the following post posted on this website by mollete = sleepy Dave is befitting a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), and on which State Board I could enter a complain about it. avi123, in a large percentage of your posts that I've observed since jo...

Re: I have been banned from the ASAA Board

Why don't we all walk over there, virtually speaking, and start posting prohibited content and send the moderator(s) into hissy-fit mode? They can't catch us all. SBF It's there house.. and the mods are just doing what they believe is right, and following (misguided) protocols set out by their orga...

That just blows my mind that you were banned. What is your commercial agenda giving away free software? Maybe your next build could include a link to this forum. I just posted this on the other forum: Re: SleepyHead Software Postby Taringa542 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 7:26 pm Daniel wrote: gtsfze wrote:De...
