Re: 3rd night, can't do it!!!
I think you got a lot of really good advice, and now I'll throw in my 2 cents. When the tech first put the mask on me, at the sleep study night, I really freaked out, pulled it off and said "I don't think I can do this!" But I needed to find out if I had apnea, and so I just slowly kept trying it un...

Re: Weeding out cpap stuff
I have had responses from several people. I have a busy day today, so either tomorrow or Monday I will figure out who gets what, and will let you know the price with standard shipping. If multiple people wanted the same items, it will go by who messaged me first. Thanks.

Re: Weeding out cpap stuff
Yes, it has a size P, which is quite small, a S/M, and a large.

Weeding out cpap stuff. All items now taken.
Hi. I've been meaning to do this, and will do it now. I have some supplies that either are new or barely used. I'll list them, and if anyone is interested, let me know. I hate to just pitch them into the trash since they're perfectly good. Wisp Nasal Mask with 3 different sizes of cushions. Cost $10...

Re: Dream Wear Mask - My opinion
I've been using the DreamWear mask for about a week now. I was having some air leaks in the beginning, but I discovered that I didn't have the straps tight enough. After I tightened them, it seals beautifully, and doesn't move when I roll over. The only problem I have is when the straps ride up in t...

Re: Hi--Having a bad time of it
After my sleep study, I was determined that I would make the treatment work. I used every tool I could find (it sounds like you have too!). If you think the mask is a big problem, have you tried the Sleepweaver Advanced? It's cloth. Once you have it on and not leaking, it's so lightweight that you b...

Re: Dream Wear Mask - My opinion
I've slept with the Dream Wear mask for 3 nights now. I had to move my cpap machine, so it's above my head, like the hose is. I absolutely love the hose being routed above my head. It's such freedom. Although I measure to a small nasal mask in many kinds, I found that I measured just a tad over the ...

Advice to newbies, and Sleepyhead question.
Hi everyone. I joined this forum right before I found out I had severe sleep apnea. I followed it closely for quite a while. Then one day I just couldn't log in and it locked me out! I just requested a new password tonight - and even though it said I'd used too many attempts to log in, this time it ...

Re: Reviews for the new ResMed Swift FX Nano
I've now used the Nano 4 nights. I still like it, but I'm getting a very sore spot right under my nose. I also seemed to have more leaks last night than the other 3, and my adjustable pressure was way higher. I need to find out how to avoid the pressure sore under my nose.

Re: Reviews for the new ResMed Swift FX Nano
I received and tried out the Nano last night. I found it to be very lightweight and I love the minimal headgear. I would have liked the "for her" version, but I was afraid the small cushion could be just a tad too small, from trying the template on, so I bought the "average" one. I am a side sleeper...

Wisp Fitpack for sale
I have decided to sell my Wisp nasal mask. I tried it with one cushion for a partial night. Just wasn't for me. If anyone is interested, PM me with an offer. I bought it from CPAP.com. I bought the large headgear for $29, the fitpack of 3 mask cushions for $69.95. I didn't buy return insurance, so I...

Question on EPR
I know the EPR is for comfortable breathing out. My question is; does the setting you choose for the EPR affect the therapy at all? If I have it set at 3, versus 1 or 2, am I getting the same therapy benefits as I would with the other two settings? I'd appreciate someone explaining that to me. Thanks.

Re: Sleepyhead graph questions
Thanks for your help! Turns out that I was looking at the wrong day on the ResMed site. And, Pugsy, your advice about preferences and checking the pressure box worked like a charm! Thanks. Got my info. Now I just have to figure out how to do the screen shot posts. Haven't mastered that one yet.

Sleepyhead graph questions
I apologize if this has been asked and answered before. First a little background info. I went for my one year followup appointment yesterday. I asked the doctor if I could try the adjustable pressure - I believe it's called apap. Since I have an Auto set 9, he said they could set the machine up for...
