Free masks and supplies
I'm cleaning out my closet and getting rid of extra masks and supplies I have. Instead of throwing them away, I thought I'd see if anyone on here wanted any of them. Send me a PM if you want anything. First come first served. Here's what I have available: Masks 1 Sleepweaver Elan Used for 1 night. I...

Re: Have to send my Memeory Card to my DME
When my DME asked me to send in my card, I took the new card they sent me, put it into my machine so that all the data that is stored on the machine (which includes compliance data for up to a year) was written to it, and then sent that card back to them. I kept my original card with my detailed dat...

Re: Advice Needed-Is my machine going nuts?
I examined the source files from my SD card using an EDF viewing program, and the crazy spikes in the graphs are right there in the source files. For each session, there are 3 graph files created (for the s9 AutoSet at least)- the BRP file which contains Flow Rate and Mask Pressure, the SAD file whi...

Re: Advice Needed-Is my machine going nuts?
I'm not sure what's going on with your machine, NateS, but the same thing has been going on with my machine since mid-January. I have an S9 Autoset. I get the same weird spikes in the graphs in SleepyHead (and the crazy y-axis values), and in ResScan, some days I get all the graphs except Flow Rate,...

Re: Short Tube Recommendations
The Sleepweaver Featherweight tube can be used with any mask- the hose ends are all standard. I currently use my Featherweight tube with the Pilairo- I don't think it would stay on my nose with the weight of the regular tube on it.

Re: Finding 95%
Does anyone know how the 90th percentile pressure is actually calculated in Sleepyhead? I've noticed that my 90th percentile numbers seem high based on the pressures that I see when I just eyeball the graph, so I took a closer look at some of my nights. For 7/15, Sleepyhead is showing a 90th percent...

Re: Is my humidifier busted?
I've been using my S9 Autoset/H5i for the past month, and have the humidity level set to 3, and filling the humidifier tank half-way will last me a week or more. I also started to worry that the humidifier wasn't working right, especially since the humidifier was always freezing cold whenever I touc...

Re: S9 Autoset has no data from last night
Asking for clarification here: Was it just the machine's LCD that had no data? Or did the software on a computer also say there was no data for Friday night? There was absolutely no data for Friday night on my SD card. I tried in both Sleepyhead and ResScan. When I looked at the actual contents of ...

Re: S9 Autoset has no data from last night
Well, the data from last night (Saturday) recorded fine, so I'm not sure what went wrong on Friday night except that I slept past noon. I understand that the LCD screen resets at noon, but I don't get why sleeping past noon would cause the machine to report that I hadn't used it at all on Friday nig...

S9 Autoset has no data from last night
I have an s9 Autoset. I went to bed at around 3am last night and woke up a little after noon today. I used my machine the whole night. When I woke up, the screen on the machine said I had only used the machine for 0.1 hour last night. I figured that was because it was after noon and so it was only l...

Re: Just diagnosed with OSA
Welcome, mrghos, and good luck tomorrow! Just to build on what others have said, it isn’t the fact that the machine is an S8 that is the issue, it is the fact that it is an S8 Escape . The Escape, while working just fine to blow air down your throat, doesn’t record any data that lets you know how we...

S9 Autoset pressure increase while awake
I just finished my first week of xPAP and I have noticed that for the last few days, my s9 Autoset has been increasing the pressure to the max right when I first get into bed and am still awake. I'm not sure why it is doing this as there are no events flagged. Has this happened to anyone else, and w...

Re: Newbie with Data Question
Thanks for the replies Max- that makes sense about the lines. I had noticed that some other people had them as well, but couldn't figure them out. I hadn't realized that I could zoom in to see the data- that helps a lot (and is way more cool to look at)! John- thanks for commenting on my numbers. Th...

Re: OSA and mental illness, anyone else? Lets exchange tips!
I also suffer from depersonalization/derealization (along with depression, PTSD, and social anxiety.) Lack of sleep the night before definitely makes it more likely that I will slip into a dissociative state the next day. A lot of the time, I feel like I am floating around in a dream. Or, I'll feel ...

Newbie with Data Question
Hi everyone. I am new to all this CPAP stuff. I had my first sleep study about a month ago. Almost all of my events happened during REM sleep. My REM AHI was 38.9, my non-REM AHI was 0.21, and my total AHI was 4.8. Even though my total AHI was already <5.0, I was diagnosed with OSA and prescribed a ...
