Re: sleep study and sleeping on one's side/back
Hi sleepyinmississippi, On my sleep study I averaged AHI of 26 and 60+ on my back. I have tried many things to prevent sleeping on my back, but with limited success. Why don't you share what you rigged? I started sleeping on my side years ago when I started dealing with acid reflux. Since then I on...

Of course he did. It was just part of the parlor tricks he used to sell it to people too stupid to understand how badly he was going to screw people.Ticman wrote:When Obama was selling this thing to everyone did he bring up this sliding window of rising cost? There's no way he didn't know about it up front.

Re: Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate
Sadly, everything I've seen is ignorance and naivety has sunk in and those who state that Obamacare will somehow save us money. I would like them to cite a single government agency that when created had a budget and managed to stick to it without ballooning out of control. Government agencies are de...

Re: Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate
You most certainly lost all credibility with me, Sloop. You are pretending not to understand what NateS is saying, and you are ignoring the obvious. The CBO estimates costs for 10 years out. As time passes, the meaning of 10 years out changes. A year in which the program was not yet in effect dropp...

Re: Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate
Those of you who opposed the Romney/Obama plan (Obama plan was modeled after Romney's Massachusetts plan), what do you propose as an alternative so that we have universal coverage on par with other countries? First, total repeal of ObamaCare. Second, pass a bill that permits the purchasing of insur...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v448/GoofProof/NOTATAX.jpg GOOD ONE! It infuriates the piss out of me how many people, including some on this board, would clearly sell their freedoms for the government to baby them. They're the same kind of people who would have been supporting the Redcoats.

Re: Needing to take deep breaths during the day
I occasionally, in particular during summer, seem to have issues with acid reflux. When it flares up, I sometimes feel like I can't get a full lungfull of air and have to take a deep breath.

Re: Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate
You COMPLETELY missed PST's point! His explanation and response was squarely ON the subject. The point he clearly made was that, because there are other provisions in the ACT which always were clearly delineated as tax (revenue) provisions, everyone in the Senate and House, proponent and opponent, ...

Re: Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate
You're missing the point. Krugman is talking about public sector jobs. You do believe in public sector jobs, like police officers, firefighters, public school teachers, etc. etc. don't you? How about road and infrastructure maintenance and repair? and so on. I don't believe you read the recommended...

Ah, fixed it. I had to use the "Assign Card" tab and assign it to me before it would download anything.

Re: Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate
There are riots in the streets of those countries whose governments there have stupidly done what Herbert Hoover tried to do here which threw the US into the Great Depression - that is, they have attempted to repair a slump in the economic cycle with austerity measures instead of government spendin...

Re: Supreme Court and the Individual Mandate
For those who think there will be apocalyptic consequences to this ruling, believe me when I say, the end is NOT nigh... Do you not understand that with that SINGLE ruling that they have forever fundamentally changed the way the US Government can interfere in our lives? They literally can force you...
