Re: SleepyHead "unstable" builds for advanced testers.
As a PR System 1 Series 60 user I've been using the PR Encore software as Sleepyhead didn't support my machine until recently. This afternoon I downloaded and tested 0.95-1-testing on my Mac. Very impressive! I did a quick comparison with the Encore numbers, and everything seemed to line up correctl...

Re: Which Operating System do you use with SleepyHead?
I cast my vote for my Mac since it's the primary machine I use SH on. Robysue -- which version of the Mac OS are you using? If it is older than 10.7, you may wish to consider upgrading to a newer version of the operating system if your Mac supports it. Here's a good primer for folks wondering what ...

Re: Poll: Falling asleep with CPAP
I now fall asleep with CPAP in roughly the same amount of time it took me before using the machine. That can vary from 5-15 minutes most nights. I've learned that, for me, there is no sense in turning off the light until I feel tired, otherwise I will toss and turn for hours. I've been on the machin...

Re: ResScan Software Download
While I'm a P-R man, a good friend just started CPAP with the S9 Autoset. I'd like to set up ResScan for him as well. Any pointers appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Re: Side Benefits of CPAP
Also, even though it is a known benefit, it's really peripheral to the core reason for CPAP: No snoring to disturb my wife Oh yeah, this is one of the best side benefits! Not just my wife, but if I'm camping with friends, or, frankly, bothering people in adjoining hotel rooms when on business trips...

Re: Side Benefits of CPAP
Believe it or not -- increased hair growth on the top of my mostly bald head. Not super thick, but there is hair there that wasn't there before CPAP.
Other positive benefits -- the airflow seems to keep my nasal passages more clear.

Dori -- I pray for continued recovery. As others have said, make sure you keep yourself healthy first, so you can help run the show.

Re: Is this website slow?
Yep, it's slow.
I'd guess the gerbils are getting tired.
If it were my web server, I'd check the caching. It feels like all the memory (on the server) is consumed and lots of paging to disk is happening.

Re: Woohoo! I got my backup/travel machine
Well, I hot the jackpot and got an autoset for $200! Fantastic! Be sure to take the time and compare all the settings between the two machines. The beauty of having two of the same type of machine is that you should be able to set them up identically, so that they both "feel" the same when you are ...

Re: A CPAP for camping
How many nights usage do you need? Are you car camping, or do you need something especially lightweight and small? I use my regular Philips Respironics DS560 Auto-CPAP machine. I use with with a lithium battery pack that can easily give me three nights of usage, including the humidifier (at a fairly...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
Sounds like a mask I would like. Other than my first 30 days (18 months ago) with a True Blue Nasal mask, all the rest of my time has been with an Aloha, which I like very much. I find it comfortable, and rarely leaks. The only two things that could be be better for me are: 1) Less noise and air pre...

Re: Pulse oximeter
Now I just need to figure out how to get the recorded data. Do I just turn off the record? Here's what I do. 1) Turn off the recording on the CMS-50E 2) Connect device to PC 3) turn it on, and keep a finger in the CMS50E. (There must be a better way...) 4) Choose option to connect. 5) Click in box ...
