Re: Resmed Airsense 10 AutoSet
Oh wow. I think this old topic from 2019 has possibly solved my ‘middle of the night problem’. I’ve had an intermittent whistling problem and have replaced the hose and headgear recently because I thought there must be a leak. Just found this topic about the humidifier and have found a spare one fro...

Re: Resmed Airsense 11 - Is there something in the pipeline?
I ordered a 10 as I really need one now and no idea how long they'll take to arrive or how much they will cost.
Did you upgrade from a 10?
What improvements did you notice please?

https://www.resmed.com/en-us/sleep-apnea/cpap-parts-support/sleep-apnea-full-products-list/cpap-machines/airsense-11/ Just released in the US a few weeks ago. Still not commonly available yet. Unknown as to when the rest of the world will get it. Very interesting. Thank you. The Resmed chat people ...

Resmed Airsense 11 - Is there something in the pipeline?
Hi Everyone, I'm in Australia. I have an Airsense 10 that needs (non urgent) repairs. I thought I'd buy a new machine and keep the Airsense10 as a backup. The Australian Resmed chat support said there's nothing new coming up but I thought I'd check here in case anyone knows something. Also, I'm plea...

Re: Success in training use of nasal pillows for mouth breathers?
I have no memory of how I did it but I used a chin strap to train myself to keep my mouth closed and eventually I weaned myself off the chin strap and only ocassionally have problems now. I say this coz there is hope for you.

Re: Time for a new machine?
Anyway I'm still using the Resmed Autoset I got all those years ago. No issues what so ever. A year or more ago I got the message about motor life exceeded. I searched here and seems like the general thought was, if it works then just disregard the message. I have an almost identical story to yours...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 - making a whistling noise
Mine started making a whirring noise after 6 months. Brought back to shop and they sent to Resmed for repair under warranty. It's been working flawlessly for 3 years now after repairs without weird noises. Ah, interesting. So I am not alone. Mine is past the warranty coz hubby had it sitting in a d...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 - making a whistling noise
Have you checked....To see if the holes in the air intake are clear? If the seal around the humidifier cover is in correctly? If any holes in the mask exhaust area are clear? Ah, I have not done this. Will have a look. Thank you. Look at the filter. Change it if it's been in there over a month. Fil...

Re: Resmed Airsense 10 - making a whistling noise
How old is it? My husband used it a couple of times and then never used it again and I've been using it maybe nine months. IDK what year it was made but he got it in 2016. I wouldn't have thought it had been used for more than a year. Sorry I can't be more specific. Mine could whistle like a teaket...

Re: Looking for advice, doctor not interested since I didn't buy the machine with them.
I had exactly the same issue when I started in 2012. My only advice and support was the lovely people here. I had done a sleep study and had a prescription but hated my Dr and bought my machine elsewhere. I am not knowledgeable enough to advise but I can report that the support here is very helpful

Resmed Airsense 10 - making a whistling noise
Hi Everyone, My machine has started making a quiet whistling noise part the way through the night. It's not there when I switch it on and if I turn it off and back on it's not there. I don't think there are any leaks and the water chamber has water in it. The noise is from the machine not the hose. ...

Re: OSCAR data for new sleep Dr appt
Oooh, that's helpful. Thank you. I will wait for tech support, aka my husband, to get home and will see if we can access it from the file or the trash. Rather not try and undo my mistake and make further mistakes :x The Dr did tell hubby that there are problems with Resmed branded SD cards which min...

Re: OSCAR data for new sleep Dr appt
Wasn't your old machine the S9 AutoSet? Yes, good memory!!! When is the last time you used that machine? Day before I changed. Was the old SD card in the machine when you used it the last time? Yes Are you using the same computer with OSCAR that you used SleepyHead on? Yes, but now I'm wondering if...

Re: OSCAR data for new sleep Dr appt
Which version of OSCAR are you using? The most recent version. I updated yesterday. I tried a new profile with the old SD card but that didn’t work either. I’m hoping to talk to a sleep technician today to ask if the data I’ll have by Friday will be enough. If not I’ll cancel the appointment and wa...
