Heat

This may be a long shot - but with summer in full swing here with temps into the up 90's every day - and course out bedroom is upstairs - so it is roasting every night - with a fan in the windows, it gets cool around 2-3 in the morning. Both my wife and I would LOVE to be able to lay down into bed, ...

Re: Me, Him, and It

One thing you could look into - although their would still be a mask between you and him - is the sleepweaver mask - it is all cloth mask, does not cause major leaks if something pushes against it - sure beats trying to snuggle with a hunk of plastic - their is not one but of plastic or hard materia...

mask pressure and pressure

ok - in sleepyhead, what is the difference between the mask pressure and pressure graphs - they seem to follow each other - only the mask pressure has a LOT more plotting points than the pressure one has - but what do each represent?

Re: Complains problems with insurance

yup - my first stop on monday is going to be at the DME - just down the road, and will get everything they have - will also take the card in if they want to "re-read" it - but not after making a back-up on the computer. So went into the DME office, with the card and print-out from ReScan - and they...

Complains problems with insurance

OK - so my wife got a letter from the insurance Co. today saying that they where not going to pay for her CPAP machine, becouse she did not use the minimum amount required, which is the standard 4 hours a night 70% of the night during a 30-day period -- they said that she only used the machine for 4...

best night in a long time

Hey everyone - well hopefully this will continue - I went from an AHI of 9 last night, down to a 2.7 today, and got a full 6.5 hours of sleep - and machine use, compared to the 2 hours of machine use, and 7 hours of sleep yesterday -- and I feel SO much better today, as far as being awake, and ready ...

Re: sleepweaver

ok - she is using a nasal mask now - it is one of the mirage masks - but does not have that plastic piece that goes up the forehead - and has not any issues with leaks that we have heard - so maybe this will work for her - if not,, she will still have her current mask to go back to. She uses a fixed...

I am looking for other that have used this mask, wondering how good it really does work? - and wondering of an all cloth mask is really as nice as they seem to be? Re: just before waking up for the day

ok - ya, and it is at those end of the night areas that I normally get the lusters of either obstructive or open area events - normally between 10-20 events, just back to back lasting over several minutes - that is the only place I ever see those - so it could be just the transition from asleep to s...

just before waking up for the day

It is common to have a bunch of events just before waking up - I have the alarm set for 7 am, and I sleep right up until the alarm wakes me up on most days - and I am noticing that I have a whole bunch of events in that last 45 or so before the alarm goes off every morning - nothing else is going on...
