Increased AHI late
Hello! My AHI for the past 3 years is always 1 or lower - nothing to worry about, right! Occasionally, it will spike up to 2, but rarely. For the past 2 months, about every other night, it's spiking to 3, 4, 5, or even 7. An AHI that high is not normal for me. The nights in-between these spikes, my ...

Raw nose...
I would like to use the DreamWear Full Face CPAP Mask (which I own) as it feels much better than the full face mask, but I can't wear it more than one night due to extreme nasal irritation! My nose literally breaks out into sores. They are so bad that I can't even put on the mask the next night due ...

Sorry! The mask pictured was the mask I started with, I just changed it. The sleep mask nose bridge just touches the CPAP mask full face nose bridge. The air exchange is located at the front of the mask down by the mouth.

Sleep mask and worsening apnea...
I've been using my CPAP machine for about a year now and my AHI is usually around 1 so it's been working quite well. I have never been a sound sleeper and have been on supplements for insomnia for years. I read about the benefits of using a sleep mask and its ability to keep out light and therefore ...

Re: Mask leakage versus AHI
One of the reasons I have had a problem with the nasal masks is they don't seem to be moustache friendly! They don't seal well...

Mask leakage versus AHI
I have been using the System One RemStar Auto with A-Flex for about 3 months now. I started out with the nasal pillows (which seemed to work but irritated my nose). I kept being awakened during the night because my mouth would pop open and the gush of air would wake me up. I tried the chin straps, b...
