Re: Melatonin Dosage?
I tried melotnin for a few nights, 2x 30mg. I was groggy the next day. I would take it maybe an hour before bed. I stopped taking it. Best thing for me before bed is a mile on my treadmill or a walk with my bride after dinner. This is just my experience, it may work just fine for you, it works well ...

Re: Free Trial for Newbies and Strugglers (Aromatics)
Just got mine today. Very nice, simple and clean in design. Do you make a cinnamon scent? I boil water on my woodstove all winter, to keep the winter funk at bay I throw cinnamon sticks in the water. Clears my head and sinuses plus makes the house smell like something yummy is in the oven. Will be o...

Re: Vasomotor rhinitis?
My RT set my humidity to 4 out of 7. After the first nite I was sooooo stuffed up the next day. The next nite I set it to 6 and felt better, now its at a setting of 7 (max for my machine) and I wish I coulkd set it higher! lol. I am a humidity junkie I suppose. I have had sinus issues as long as I c...

Upper left corner there is a link called "User Control Panel". Click it and you will see a tab marked "Profile". The rest should be pretty easy.
Glad to hear your getting more comfortable.

Re: Quick question regarding SenceAwake
Not a lot of F & P users here so even less discussion about its features. I don't remember much discussion about the Sensawake feature (if any discussion). I bet F & P talks it up about how accurate it might be Picking up on what Pugsy said and hoping not to confuse you, is it possible for you to e...

Re: Quick question regarding SenceAwake
If you do a Search for Sensawake here I'm pretty sure you'll get threads relating to it. DoriC, I have and found lots of threads, but nothing that gets into the nuts and bolts of what it does. I am seeing them happen 20-30 times a nite. If I am partially awakening during these times then I am sure ...

Re: Quick question regarding SenceAwake
I used the F&P Icon auto for around 9 months. Ive just recently switched to the S9 auto. I never really understood the SenseAwake feature. I never felt like it performed like it was supposed to. In theory, it is supposed to reduce your pressure when it 'senses' that your about to wake up. I always ...

Re: Quick question regarding SenceAwake
As per the sensawake feature, apparently F/P has had it for some time: http://www.sleepdt.com/fisher-paykel-healthcares-sensawake-technology/ I don't know when the machine featured in the link was introduced, but it's not the new one. Awesome chunky Thank you very much. here is one graph of the fir...

Quick question regarding SenceAwake
Does this function detect arrousals and adjust pressure to help you remain asleep? Why I ask is that for the last 2 days I have had this feature enabled and it shows it has acted 31 and 27 times each nite. Just curious if that means I was waking up each of those times? Thanks in advance Same day I s...

Re: ICON Users - Humidifier/Heat Question(s)
Hey Grant, I have an icon Auto and yes mine stays warm, but not hot. If mine got hot to the touch and I had to reboot it to get it to function, I wouldnt use it at all. I would be on the phone to my DME getting a replacement. Whats to keep it from getting hot enough to start melting stuff while I am...
